andriod question

okay heres some andriod questions I have.
If present 17 is stronger than 18, why did imperfect cell absorb 17 first?
I mean shouldnt he go from weakest to strongest, not strongest to weakest.
Also how is that andriod 16 is not even mention in the Mirai trunks timeline?

It doesn't really matter what order Cell goes in and absorbing 18 gave him an even bigger increase than 17. 16 didn't exist in Mirai Trunks timeline.

I guess so. but still if 16 didn't exist in his timeline how come according to the present andriods he did exist?

Different events occur in different timelines, just like the fact that 19 existed and Dr. Gero turned into Android 20 in this timeline. Everytime Trunks time travels, the events in the timeline alter.

When Cell absorbed humans (fully biological beings) then he added their power level to his own (probably). That's why he wanted to absorb Piccolo more than simple humans.
When Cell absorbed the two Androids (semi biological beings), then there was no "power level" to be added (If you remember, the androids didn't have ki, only infinite energy supplies, so if the absorption worked the same way with them, then Cell would have... well, infinite energy with which to fire attacks). Cell was designed to achieve a higher "evolution" level when he absorbed the Androids, probably using the infinite energy of the Android power cores to trigger the transformation...

Just to add - though I severely doubt the order of siphoning either Cyborg in question would alter such extensive transformations on any sense of the word, in a terms of in appearance, it could alter Cell drastically. Scrutinizing punctiliously on this matter has lead me to come to notice that Cell inherits facial traits that reside both #18 (that would fill her eyes and general physique as Cell's wings appear in full and reach back in a way that seems to make him more... nonchalant in nature, though like #18 on that sense of the term) and #17 after absorbing said Cyborgs. So, in example - 'Incomplete' Cell (2nd form) in appearance, happens to resemble #17 to an extent, and it becomes very apparent in my view when Cell becomes complete, that he resembles #18 to a degree as well.

So, if Cell had absorbed 18 first, then in his "Semi-Perfect" state he would appear as his "Perfect" state (manga appearance) was shown and when he absorbed 17 he would resemble his "Semi-Perfect" state (manga appearance) even though he would be in his "Perfect" state? I mean, would the appearance of the two forms reverse as well if the order of the Android absorption was the opposite?

I think Cell would look a bit different if he absorbs 18 first instead of 17 but he wouldn't have the perfect form if he only absorbs 18 because he needs both androids to become Perfect. It doesn't really matter who Cell absorbs first as long as he can absorb both to become perfect.

I meant appearance not power level. But yes I still think he would look the same way in the respective forms regardless of the order of appearance. It's just how its Semi-Perfect and Perfect forms look like.

i always though of the androids as batteries. can cell live on humans to gain strenght, yes, though id imagin that it would be a temporary increase, 17 and 18 boosted him dramaticly with a perminate energy ficture.
