Hey all the people. I am Saturnine, and I chose to join these forums for some good debates I've been recently unable to conduct on another forum.

As of the topic:

You know what... there are really some major arguments proving that Goku MSS > Trunks AS2

1: Full Power Perfect Cell was significantly, not to say, uncomparably more powerful than the Cell Trunks fought with. I suppose that Cell could become 6 times stronger when he only wanted to - while when he mimicked the Ascended Saiyan himself, he'd get encore 1,5 times stronger. So there is a difference of 9 times between the Cell Trunks fought and the Cell who was desperately trying to harm Gohan SS2. Do you really think that Trunks was more than 9 times stronger than the opponent he was facing? That is hilarious - if that were the case, then Cell's attacks would not have made THE SLIGHTEST impression on Trunks. He'd absorb all the hits with a smirk on his face while not even budging - and to be honest, when someone is stronger than another by tenfold, he CANNOT be inferior in terms of speed. That is just impossible.

2: Trunks was awed by Goku's power after his Cell Games powerup - note that Trunks was already after his second year in the Time Chamber. That would imply that MSS Goku would still be stronger than AS2 Trunks after 2 years of HTC... though personally I think that Trunks could have gotten very close to MSS Goku in power, if he chose to transform at the Cell Games. His speed would do him no good though. Anyway MSS Goku >> AS2 Trunks after 1 year HTC

3: When Perfect Cell powered up against Gohan, all the Z Fighters got thrills and their facial expressions indicated that they expect imminent doom. Gohan remained virtually unimpressed, however, and he still stated that he is significantly stronger than Cell. These two things prove FP Cell's absolute dominance over the Z Fighters' powers and that SS2 is a whole another dimension of powerlevel.

4: It is very possible that Goku and Gohan's Base powerlevels had a big influence on their general powerlevel as MSS. If their Base was higher than Trunks' than that had a significant contribution in their general power advantage. But that is a matter for another debate.

SSj Grade 2 Trunks would be a tad stronger than MSSj Goku [relaxed; Cell Game].

I'd rather say that AS2 Trunks was significantly (about 1,33x) stronger than relaxed MSS Goku. That is because Cell stated that Trunks is significantly stronger than himself and Cell was at a very close level to Goku. Meaning: the statement of Cell's applied for him, as well as relaxed MSS Goku.



And if you mean AS1 or SS 2nd Grade or Ascended Saiyan Initial (my very own fanterm) than agreed. Trunks would be a little better than 50% Goku, and Vegeta would be another bit beyond this.

I'm speaking of SSj 2nd Grade, the level Vegeta had shown Semi-Perfect Cell during their fight.

When Cell said that Trunks was significantly stronger than him Trunks was using the SSj Grade 3, not the 2nd Grade.

SSj Grade 2 Trunks < Complete Cell [suppressed] who is about = MSSj Goku [relaxed]. [this is all post RoSaT but Pre second entry] So after the second entry I'd say SSj Grade 2 Trunks had surpassed MSSj Goku's relaxed state.

But I already agreed with you on that! I said clearly "if you mean Ascended Saiyan 1 then I agree that Trunks was a little better than relaxed Super Saiyan Goku".

Alright, so we are at an agreement that MSS Goku >>> AS2 Trunks >>> AS1 Trunks > MSS Goku 50%.

I don't think SSj 2nd Grade Trunks is stronger than MSSj Goku 50%. I'd still put him below.

I'm pretty sure that USSJ is stronger because i read somewhere that FPSSJ is just when someone becomes comfortable in the normal SSJ form, but USSJ is a powered up version of the regular SSJ form.

FPSSJ no doubt. Cell was able to beat a USSJ easy. He thought of it as a warm up. FPSSJ gave Cell a challenge.

Yes, MSSj makes yourself as the norm, which allows you to tap into more of your potential as a SSj because the energy consumption taken by the transformation is gone. And, it's more efficient than 2nd and 3rd Grade SSj in more ways than just being faster...like being stronger.
