Arguably, Base Gotenks [pre-RoSaT] is around SSjin2 Goku's level. Buu beat Gotenks in the same manner as he did Vegeta, but somehow, Gotenks escaped. He may actually be a bit stronger than them. However, I place Brolys peak state beyond SSjin2 Kid Gohan, and up there with SSjin2 Goku. So to me, there is a chance Broly could pull this off. Gotenks has only 30 minutes to fight, and he is naive. So...you know.

His peak state? Have we ever seen this or are you hypothetically going out on a whim? His careless and belligerent attitude proved true to Chibi Gotenks, but this is an older, more mature Gotenks. He would likely remember what Burori did to them from their previous encounter and finish the battle relatively quick.

By using an adult Gotenkusu, do you mean a mature, concentrated mind or do you mean a hypothetical GT Gotenkusu? Gotenkusu ( Chibi, Pre-RoSaT ) would horribly trainwreck Burori in his highest shown incantation, having him more knowledgable and less childish would only make Burori's organs be left in more pain and a GT Gotenkusu is probably SSJ3 Gotenkusu's equal in base... ( Consider the fact at how easily Yakon was dealt with by Torankusu, that a suppressed Yakon nearly impaled Majin Buu Arc Gokuu with his claws, in a lighted area, and the fact that Base Gokuu >/>> MSSJ Torankusu/Goten and....... you get the point ).

Yeah, I'd pretty much say Adult Gotenks in any form wins. I mean Goten & Trunks are more serious about fighting so Gotenks won't have his cocky attitude to slow him down. So I'd go with Adult Gotenks, easily.

By his peak state, I'm of course referring to the most powerful state we see him in, which is LSSjin [Movie 10]. I also didn't quite clearly see that the Gotenks in this discussion is an adult. So, given, they are more mature. But is that any real advantage? I don't think it really is. For instance, if you've see Movie 11, you know that their immaturity doesn't have much to do with the battle against Broly. They actually overcame Bio-Broly anyway by using their heads. The only thing that I think would've changed of them in battle as adults would be their naivete. They would be less likely to fall for a trick or something of that devious sort. But really, how many times have you seen Broly try to pull tricks? It's a battle of power, not wits. The power of Adult Gotenks probably reaches SSjin3 power. So, obviously Broly is outclassed power-wise.
