Broly(pre Buu saga) is rather unclear, all Broly incarnations appeared before the Buu saga.

As for the topic, Broly wipes the floor with them. They're too inexperienced and dumb to seriously take on Broly. He'd waste no time trying to kill them, especially Goten because of his similarity to Goku.

Yes they were stronger than Vegeta and Piccolo. If Akira states it, it must be true.

Man, as much as I wouldn't like to do this, I have to disagree with him there. Goten and Trunks, the never serious inexperienced sons of the two greatest warriors on Earth, are stronger than Vegeta? Maybe I could understand Piccolo, but not Vegeta. There's no way. That would mean they're almost as strong as Goku's base, and that doesn't make sense.

I'll have to read the description again because I never saw that and if it was indeed stated, I think that they were said to be two of the strongest warriors, not the two strongest warriors. Also, the description is rather irrelevant, when you read the book it's obvious the kids never came close to Vegeta.

Since the TC didn't specify, let's go through all the incarnations of Broly.

Movie 8

Base Broly VS Base Goten and Trunks: Base Goku was an equal match for Restricted Super Sayajin Broly. Sure, Broly was restricted, but he was still bound to be considerably stronger than his base form. I don't have base Goten and Trunks that far below base Goku in power. Perhaps Broly would be a tad stronger, but this is 2 vs 1 we're talking about, and Broly's strength difference isn't that big.

Restricted Super Sayajin Broly vs Super Sayajin Goten and Trunks: RSSJ Broly was on par with base Goku, enough said.

Super Sayajin Broly vs Super Sayajin Goten and Trunks: We have no idea how strong non-restricted Super Sayajin Broly be, so it's really hard to gauge his strength.

Legendary Super Sayajin Broly vs Super Sayajin Goten and Trunks: It's stated that Super Sayajin Broly (Movie 10) is on par with Legendary Super Sayajin Broly (Movie 8), so the fight would be the same as it was in movie 10.

Movie 10

Base Broly VS Base Goten and Trunks: Base Broly, due to the Super Sayajin Broly vs Super Sayajin Goten and Trunks battle in Movie 10.

Base Goku was not equal to Broly here by a long shot. He fired a barrage of energy blasts, Goku knocked one away and it threw Broly back. That goes to show you what would've happened if Goku got hit by all of those since he was alot weaker. In this brief little skirmish, Goku also punched him clear in the face which had no effect.

RSSJ Broly was completely unfazed by a hard kick to the neck from SSJ Vegeta (after HBTC) so I have him right above Cell's first form.

SSJ Broly in Movie 8 with all of his power free IMO, is right below USSJ Vegeta which puts him a good deal stronger than 2nd form Imperfect Cell.

I think SSJ Trunks and Goten could handle RSSJ Broly if they team up but his SSJ form from this era is still marginally stronger so they would put up a much better fight against him than in Movie 10 which was no contest.

It's the same case if they were all fighting in their base forms.

Everyone knows that being in his Legendary state would kill them in a single punch/blast so lets not even go there.

Overall, this is some pretty heavy child abuse.

ALso, I think you're grossly overestimating Broly was as a restricted Ssj. I think he would be far below his full power.

Nah, SSJ Vegeta after the HBTC would be around Android 18's level and since he couldn't affect RSSJ Broly with all of his might, I think its reasonable that Broly here is marginally above Cell's first form.
