Maybe but I interpret it meaning he was still (Depite getting weaker) stronger than the last time and this was after he attacked Broly in Base so if he expected his Base to be a better match against this Broly he probably wasn't talking about SSJ2, of course that's just me.

The multiplier for MSSJ was shown to be very low.

So my personal guess for movie 10 is:

SSJ Broly: 100

Base Gohan: 88

LSSJ Broly: 300

MSSJ Gohan: 264

MSSJ/SSJ Goten/Trunks: 75

Combined powers of Gohan and Goten with full effort: 330

Clearly, we see lightning, therefore, he's SSj2. If the anime is wrong (usually isn't with the lightning on SSj2 and SSj3), then we got the Manga to back us up (Manga = always right). In the movies, if there's no lightning on a "supposed" SSj2, then guess what, he's not SSj2. So, you cannot prove that LSSj Broly is stronger than a SSj2 because of the fight between him and Gohan in Movie 10.. That's what I think.

I can't prove anything with Broly with full proof shit, but I try my best with what's shown, and it's all valid for the most part except for this SSj2 thing with Gohan. What the manga shows and what the anime and movies show are two sepearate worlds, two seperate worlds that don't share the same accuracy as far as depicting SSj2s go. The manga seems to include the sparks at the right moments for sure, and that's indeed what we go by. But we know the movie makers made blatant mistakes. I don't understand why people still think Goku wasn't SSj2 in Movie 12 when his hair shows us that he certainly is, because it's shaped in the way it would be shaped if it was SSj2 Goku from the manga. How can you just ignore that and say he for sure wasn't SSj2 because he had no sparks??? This also happens in Movie 13, GT, and the anime. They've shown that they can make blatant mistakes, and going by that I deduce all that's shown in Movie 8 and 10 and the SSj2 transformation of Gohan. From that, I have derived a theory that Gohan was SSj2 in Movie 10, based off the seeming fact Goku and Gohan were MSSjs in Movie 8. And if that's the case, then LSSj Broly [Movie 8] is around Complete Cell's full power. And since he gained a Zenkai after Movie 8, his power would've jumped to the SSj2 level given the apparent evolution of the Super Saiyan at that time. Cell had jumped to this level as well as Gohan.

As for Gohan: Gohan stated that he was far more powerful then he was when he fought Broly as a kid; this is the same Gohan that grew weaker over the seven years of peace, and we know he's very weak. If Gohan is more powerful then himself when he fought Broly as a kid, even though he should be far weaker, then he was a SSJ2, no electric or not. I want to see Japanese quotes stating this or something. Give me a source, cause I just don't remember Gohan saying that he had grown far more powerful than he had been as when he fought Broly earlier.

Anyway, here's the exact quote:

"He's just as much a monster as the last time we fought. And here I've powered up considerably since then."

Gohan says this when he's going against Broly while he's in base form. This is in the original.

That means, Gohan was a SSJ2 against Broly. If you believe Gohan would say considerably stronger when he's been growing weaker over seven years, then you're ignoring his quote.

That isn't towards you, Broly. Just those who automatically ignore the fact that he could be a SSJ2.
