Dodging Dabra's spit is equivalent to dodging a small ki blast. I really don't know how fast Dabra can spit...but if it doesn't go fast enough Broly will dodge it. It's as simple as that. And since Broly's like 3x stronger than Dabra as a Legendary Super Saiyan [8], his dodging capability is heightened dramatically in a case such as this. Dabra would have to catch Broly off guard sick-status...and even at that if Broly does pick up on what's going on, that is if he hasn't already bashed Dabra to hell, he could simply raise his ki-shield before it touches him, or even vaporize it in mid-air.

Do you really think that he'd dodge spit? I mean, why would he care, it's just spit..... or at least that's what he thinks.

Even if Broly was fast enough to dodge the spit coming to him, wouldn't his huge body make it hard to avoid it? I mean, Broly is pretty freaking huge, man! His hands are bigger than Goku's head!

Broly, your point fails in that he knowingly and willingly took the full brunt of Goku's kamehameha, so why should he bother dodging spit?

What makes you think he would necessarily let it hit him? Who's to really say what he really would do? I may very well be wrong, but so could you. This isn't about making a point, because there's no evidence to point to anything about this right now on whether he would dodge it or not. It's about opinion.

Just because we never really saw him dodge anything doesn't mean he can't, obviously. Plus, judging by my interpretation of his power, he moves much more rapidly than Dabra.

It doesn't matter. You don't just take power into account, you have to take experience and personality into account as well. And Broly has never bothered to dodge things. Especially not if his opponent was weaker. There's absolutely no reason to suggest that he'd dodge the spit. Just because he could doesn't mean he would.

If you're not going to take personality into account then you can say that Goku would beat Broly no matter what cause he could just IT him into space and return before he popped.

If Broly's power is where I think it is, Dabra's spit won't be going fast enough, whether Broly realizes what it is or not. Hell, he may not dodge it, thinking that it's just spit and what the Hell, who cares, "I don't really care if I'm smothered by demon king spit." He may not care. But that's not to say he can't dodge it. But what's interesting about Dabra's death is that he never used his spit against Buu. ??? And why not? It seems Dabra doesn't use his spitting technique too often at all. So to say that he would definately use it against Broly, even if Broly was much stronger than him, is not a complete certainty at all. And, if Broly is indeed around 4x his power, Dabra won't be doing crap to him anyway.

Actually he tried it against Buu in the anime (he missed and hit a lizard) I don't think he did in the manga.

Sure he did. Remember on the building when he was dodging Goku and Piccolo's melee attacks with his arms crossed?

You don't know that he never dodged anything in his life because he never attained his Legendary form until the day he came face to face with Goku for the second time. And he only took hits because the form made him so durable. Clearly, against opponents who were FAR weaker than him - like the ones he faced in both movies. This goes without saying he would still dodge if he needed to (even in LSSJ form) against an opponent whos power rivals his. Hes not stupid you know.

Dabura should be more powerful than Broly in movie 8, than Broly in movie 10 is more powerful than Dabura.
