Looks practically the same to me. However, I beg you, look at Gohan's stature and body mass in the manga when he was training in the RoSaT, then compare him as he is in Movie 8. He's noticably bigger in the movie. See page 25.

Gohan looks a lot shorter at that point, then he actually is when he exits the rosat. The Gohan in #8 was also as tall as the post rosat Gohan. When Gohan saw Goku transform into USSJ, you could see he wasn't that tall at that point.

Gohan wasn't standing still, and he reached Goku's stomach, so if he was he would reach his chest, and Goku's size was increased since he was USSJ.

Remember, Broly can't suppress his power, so he'd have to tap Gohan's face very lightly. Otherwise, he'll break Gohan's entire face or body. I can't see Broly being that cautious, can you?

Maybe it's a plothole. Afterall, he did close-line Videl as a Super Saiyan and she lived. But there is such thing as holding back power and effort.
@ Uki - Look at page 25 in the Viz Translation to see the difference in stature. In that page, Gohan is shown as a Super Saiyan, standing with his hands clenched in front of him. That's Mid-RoSaT Gohan. In Movie 8, he looks older as well as more mature. I'll get a picture in here sooner or later.

I think not using all of your effort doesn't equal to suppressing your chi. Vegeta kicked Pui-Pui around, but it was just effortless on his part, not necessairly Vegeta suppressing his chi.

Actually, I don't think that Vegeta was anywhere near his full power when he killed Pui-Pui.
Provide a better example, preferably of someone "holding back" when they can't suppress their chi.

How about this. Freeza [2nd Suppression] knocks around Gohan who is far far weaker than him. Freeza had to have been holding back power there, but whatever he was holding back would eventually not be enough to spare Gohan's death if he continued his assault. We only saw SSj Broly hit Base Gohan once in Movie 10, and it seemed to deal some good damage, but whatever damage was dealt was not enough to fell him. So I think it's possible that he was just playing around with Gohan, what with the maneuvers an all, but I'm actually not too sure. The other examples are very good as well.
