Broly was giving his all??? When was this? Perhaps at a certain heightened point in Movie 8, but nowhere else is this even implied.

Videl has the greatest unrealized potential in all of DBZ (canon or non-canon). Mystic Videl would destroy the universe in an instant.

She also got a zenkai after her battle with Sppopovitch which brought her over 9,000.

The diferent between Broly (Movie 8 and 10) power is very short.
SPC, Hatchhyack and Bojack (Transformed) continue being strongers.

What are you guys talkin about? Had it not been for Videl hurling the crystal at Broly, we would've never seen the triple Kame beam. Videl is the reason that fight was won; so she did use her full-potential.

I just realized something:

Broly is a total weakling in Movie 8; when he fought Goku (and still, by the way, couldn't kill him), Goku was stated to be hungry. And everyone knows that Goku's power drops tremendously when he's hungry.

So, Goku (Normal) >>>> Broly >> Goku (Hungry).

That part where his stomach growls in the spaceship was meant for a joke. It served as no real factor in the fight with Broly, because it would've been talked about further if it did. You're over-analyzing this a bit too much.

Okay, no problem. LSSj Broly close-lines SSj 2nd Grade Trunks into the wall, but he comes back a bit later to help Goku. Broly knocks a MSSj Gohan out with two-attacks as if it were nothing.

Later in the movie we see Goku needs to collect everyone's SSj power in order to defeat Broly. So apparently Broly was holding back drastically.

There were times when he held back punches on one adversary but totally annihilated another. Piccolo and Vegeta are a prime examples of this.
