That's because Batman is a genius. Trust me, he'd find a way to beat Broly, too. There's nobody Batman can't defeat. Saying that Supes will lose because he lost to Batman is like saying a World Devestator will lose to a Corellian Corvette because R2-D2 destroyed an entire fleet of them. Seriously, Batman and R2-D2 can defeat anybody, no matter the situation, they will MacGuyver something that would put MacGuyver to shame, as if he'd been kicked in the balls, then had them torn off and stuffed down his own throat. And then been forced to regurgitate them. That's just how good Batman and R2-D2 are.

In case any of you have forgotten, Toriyama-sensei already made a Superman variant in his Dr. Slump manga (Named: "Suppaman"), and was he even as strong as Dragon Ball era Goku?....Not even close.
