The Ghost fighters would win very easily, I mean they put up some sort of a fight against the Z Fighters (Who are all stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell) so really if they team up they could definatly defeat Cell.

Um, did you watch the Hatchyack special? They seemed to be able to keep up with MSSjs. It was stated that they got stronger from their previous forms.(including Metal cooler)

The four Ghost would be at same power level. Maybe Freeza a bit stronger because is the leader.
Piccolo (Post-Rosat) need MSSJ Gohan help to take Ghost Lord Slug.
Piccolo (Post-Rosat) is far stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell.
This is a proof that Ghost are stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell.

You should watch the movie again but this time with the eyes open because The ghost were beaten by blast or beam, NOT by punch or kick like you said.

OH yes my bad by one blast......if they where able to keep up they would do a lot better......you should watch it again yourself they where all prety dead 5 seconds after they fought with the z warriors

I doubt Semi-Perfect Cell would do any better. The ghosts took the punches much better than Cell took Vegeta's blows. So Cell is outnumbered and outmatched, I doubt Cell would get adivise from King Kai.

Using your logic....

Super 17 was beaten in 2 chapters and Freeza was beaten in aprox 20 chapters. So, Freeza is stronger than Super 17.
