By the end of GT who would win, Piccolo or Base Vegeta?

And as a secondary question, by the start of GT who do you think Piccolo was closest to in power level?

I'd say Base Vegeta, since he most likely kept up his training more intensely than Piccolo.

And as for Piccolo at the end of DBGT, I'd say he wouldn't be able to beat Goten/Gohan/Trunks/Uub/Pan...because he's dead.

Piccolo is a weakling in DBGT. He didn´t changed his power too much compared to Cell Arc Piccolo.

Vegeta would win rather easily. Piccolo couldn't even deflect SSJ Gohan's Kame beam, and Vegeta made Gohan like stupid when he attacked him.

Regarding Piccolo in DBGT we only know he is stronger than Trunks and he is in the top four of most powerful in Earth with Goku, Vegeta and Gohan. nothing more. Since Gohan is probably stronger than Piccolo in DBGT and Vegeta is stronger than Gohan I pick Vegeta for the winner.

Son Goku was dead when he fought Majin Buu (Fat Buu), think before you type.

For those who think Piccolo >> Base Vegeta

-Saiyans power levels grow faster than anyone else in Dragonball Z.
-Piccolo (mid - Cell Arc) managed to become stronger than a Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta, thanks to his reunion with Kami.
-Vegeta attained Super Saiyan Grade 2, that proved to be more power than Piccolo by a vast amount. Thus Vegeta base would also increase.
-After the Saiyan Arc Piccolo still trained thus his power level would increase, but remember his a Namek. So his power level is increasing at a snails pace.
-Vegeta has attained the Mastered Super Saiyan State, as well as SUper Saiyan 2; thus his Base power will have shot up.

Now comparing there power levels and then estaimating Base Vegeta's. He wins (easily) as his Base would have shot up thanks to him attaining the new MSSj state and Super Saiyan 2, while Piccolo is training to attain power, at a slower rate than Vegeta is. Remember Vegeta is still training too at the rate of god like speed.


Vegeta brings home the Namek and burns him.

SSJ4 Vegito

I'm going with Vegeta on this one because, during the Super 17 saga Vegeta actually did pretty well against Super 17 (Even compared to Goku who was at SSJ) so since Vegeta's SSJ form is close to Goku's SSJ form I imagine that the same would apply to their Base forms. So since Base Goku beat Super Saiyan Gohan who beat Piccolo with One Kamehameha Wave I believe Vegeta could defeat Piccolo pretty easily.
