The Bojack crew in my opinion are not especially strong when they are not in a team and dont have those power.....

So he obviously increased his power a great deal somehow. |

Piccolo also doesn't seem weaker than Vegeta or Trunks or even Gohan and of course he is weaker than them. |

At the very best, Gohan in Movie 8 is = to Trunks/Vegeta. The point still stands in that he became stronger than them in Movie 9.

goku, gohan, vegeta, trunks from movie 8 were not as strong as they were in movie 9, so i would say bojack's crew could easily destroy broly. plus when Mss gohan was fighting bojack's crew he was getting owned

The opponents he faced in Movie 9 were far closer to his power, so he would naturally have an easier time contending with such. As with Broly, in Movie 8, Gohan's power was simply outclassed. And to further add, he was not portrayed as the weakest fighter in that movie. It's a misconception on your part because you picture him being Mid-RoSaT. In fact, it's shown towards the latter parts of Movie 8 that Gohan is still keeping up with everyone else. So I conclude, Gohan was stronger than them, as I suggest, but in the longrun, it's nothing much in light of Broly's power, so he seems dwarfed.

Goku is just doing his fatherly duties. He has love for his son. Of course he's gonna tell him to high-tail it. The fact I'm trying to assert is that Broly is well beyond any of them, so whether Gohan is stronger than Goku is irrelevant here because he'll simply be thrust aside. That's why Goku just tells Gohan to leave. You don't see Goku telling Gohan to run straight away when they turn SSj to fight Broly on foot. It's only after Trunks is taken out in one blow that Goku realizes the true severity of the situation he and his son are in. As a loving father would normally do, he tries to spare his son.

He tells him to go the second Broly begins to move in, before there's nay action at all, not "only after he realizes" anything.
Goku had no qualms about throwing Gohan to Cell, did he? That's because Gohan was stronger than the rest. He was NOT stronger than anybody else in Movie 8. Yet, he was the strongest of all of them in Movie 9. Going from "not the strongest guy on the field" to "the strongest guy on the field" is an increase in power. Gohan (Movie 9) >> Gohan (Movie 8). |

"Kakarot, how much do you love your son?"
He said this right after slamming Trunks in the wall making him cough up blood. Right then and there, Goku knew that Broly wasn't taking any prisoners and that even though Gohan was the strongest out of the Z-fighters, he stood no chance and didn't want to risk his son's life on a psychopath so he tried to hold him off alone while Gohan flew away but they failed miserably.
