What are ways for the "super underdog" to win?

Here is the Battle: Perfect Cell vs SSj3 Gotenks.

Perfect Cell has just as much abilities as Gotenks does.
-Though he is smarter, and he could wait until the fusions ends, if he knows about the circumstances.
-Perfect Cell could flee.

No offense but this is worst than the Slug vs Frieza battle. This goes from slaughter to genocide.

SSJ3 Gotens was stated to be stronger than SSJ3 goku. SSJ3 Goku>>>>>Any form of cell. Once again, in DBZ, skills don't mean crap. If your stronger...you win.

I think after fissioning into a Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks had only 12 seconds left to fight. If Cell can fight for that long, it will leave Goten and Trunks tired without much Ki: defenseless. Cell wouldn't hesitate to kill them, Gotenks would.

If it's Super Perfect Cell, he could do this; use teleport, and hide for about 4 minutes, then appear back and talk shit to Gotenks. Super Gotenks should defuse at that point, then Cell could annihalate him.

You got the wrong interpetation of my battle. This is battle was designed to find ways that for the underdog(cell) could defeat Gotenks.

Cell would have to stall Gotenks with like a game or joke or something, I doudt Cell knows any though.
Or use a solar flare and get far way from Gotenks then hide somewhere and wait.

The thing is, SSJ3 Gotenks out matches Cell in so many ways its not even funny. So what if he uses Instantaneous Movement. He's got to lock on to a Ki source, and unless goku or someones randomly there, he'll have to lock on to Gotenks.

I mean, basically if Gotenks doesn't do CRAP, until the fusion wears off...Cell is dead. Also the point of versus matches is to fight...not run away until your opponent becomes significantly weaker.

If Cell teleports and suppresses his chi, then he would have the advantage.

Cell just has to use his Gero-given techniques and he'll be fine. [Solar Flare, teleport an hide, wait for him to defuse, and he ends the fight]

I don't really see, as I don't think defusioning is what the OP had in mind, how Cell can beat Gotenks. There is no way he could do it.
