Cell will see Gotenks' power, and naturally hide, as I said. However, if Cell sticks it out [and no one wants to die, so of course he will], then he won't have to know about the fusion in order for Gotenks to defuse. Furthermore, it's possible Gotenks would blurt something out about his fusion, just like he did with Buu. He's quite cocky and careless too...all Cell can do is hope...
