Thats Goku... and its also pretty bad reasoning. Born to battle or not, that doesn't give you some sort of "Free win on equal levels" card. This goes double for Broly. That Green Gorilla uses brute force to overcome his opponents, and on equal levels would lose to anyone with even a slight amount of martial arts skill.

No, pure blooded saiyans are all like that. Your gorilla comparison isn't very accurate as gorillas aren't born to fight. Vegeta stated the saiyans were born to be warriors, it applies to all saiyans. You're all talking like Broly has no skills at all while he has. The reason he battled like a madman was because he had the power advantage, if he was dead even to them I doubt he would have done that.

His warrior instincts automatically make him more durable, he'll last longer and will give up only when he's dead, a normal human will stop when his limits are reached. Saiyans aren't like that, they push the limits. Even if Broly was beaten dead(Consider it's a one on one) he wouldn't give up, saiyans don't give up. I'm not saying he would win, I'm saying he can pull out something to win.

Broly is to big and slouchy. At equal PL's I'd go for Tien, but at the same time I wonder about how much Broly can take physically.

At even power levels, definitely Tien without question. He's better at fighting, and Broly basically has no technique. If you see the movies, he does an awful lot of showboating (unnecessarily powering up to make the ground around him shake) and spamming generic energy blasts..

Lol, perhaps you can answer my question?

Saying Broly will win just cuz he's a Saiyan is a pretty weak ass answer, Raditz had warrior instincts and got pwned by warriors less than half his power

He can take alot. Even at Base, the fight would be pretty unfair against Tien but at equal power levels or not, I know his defense must be weaker than Broly's so thats an advantage.

Actually Tien has one of the highest defenses of any Dragonball characters, it's one of his specialities. If Tien and Broly are at equal power levels, Tien's defence would be much greater than Brolys.

Eraser Cannon isn't a canon attack.

This is mainly because they are at equal power levels, Broly needs to be more powerful to win. Power is Broly's speciality (Post-Saiyaman saga) after all.

With some of his special moves, I can agree but I just meant Broly would be more physically durable and the Eraser Cannon is what he used in Movie 10 right when he was about to kill Trunks and Goten. Since they are at equal power levels, that wouldn't necessarily kill Tien which is why I said it could slow him down.

Actually that summarizes it really well.

The reason I believe Tien wins this is because they are stated to have the same PL, upon that is that the Neo Tri Beam multiplies his base level.

A versus thread should be made stating two characters to keep their original power levels, but to share the same level of defense.
