I don't know about you, but the fact that Broly escaped the comet exhibits his skill. He may be big, burly, and one of few words, but where do you get dumb? Primitive? Okay. I know he's psychotic...but dumb?

Your ki moves don't depict your overall skill. There's tactics, agility, speed, power, strength, durability, ductility, and the list would go on.

Broly's "techniques":

1. Yells a lot
2. Charges headfirst, swinging his arms at his opponent
3. Grabs opponents arms, attempting to stretch him
4. green ball of energy. Uses this over...and over....and over....and over....
5. grabs arm or leg of opponent, and swings them toward the ground/water/mountain/whatever they might hit
6. .....um.....ahhh......nope, that's all of them.

That's every move Broly has. I'd say that qualifies as a lack of skill.

Tien's got Dodon Ray, Solar Flare, TriBeam, can grow extra arms, can split into four separate fighters.....

No comparison.

He can talk. It's proven when he makes a one-sentence statement at the end of Movie 10: "Not until you lay dead at my feet". It's clear Broly had speech skills and wasn't stupid. And from that statement I know that. Plain an simple, Broly is just psychotic, and that's why he doesn't say too much. He had been out of the loop for seven years...he woke up on an unknown planet not actually knowing exactly what happened...only thing he remebers is Goku punching a hole through him.

Tien starts at the same power level as Broly.

Tien splits into two fighters, and each of them have only half of Tien's power (stated in DB to be straight division).

The two Tiens perform Fusion, which results in a new Tien that's manyfold more powerful than the sum of their powers (stated in DBZ to be far beyond adding the two fighters).

This new Tien has 30 minutes of being manyfold stronger than Broly, and kicks him all over the battlefield just for fun. When he gets bored, he kills Broly with nothing but a wave of his hand.

Fight over.

In reply to your so-called reasons for 'Broly being stupid' in order from one to ten:

1. He's psychotic, that's expected.

2. That's his style, and it had proven to be quite useful in physical combat.

3. Again, that's his torture signature move. That's just the way he fights. And it's smart to fight that way when you have so much mass on a person. Broly realizes this and uses it to his advantage. Smart.

4. Broly uses his green orb over an over an over because it works, and it completely blasts his opponents 'out of the water'.

5. Broly has muscle mass, which means throwing people around like he does will cause immense damage. This is Broly's style because of his size. He knows how to use that attribute to his advantage. He's not gonna do Kame-sennin style on Goku or anything of that sort because with his big body he'd just be wasting energy. Moving mass like that requires effort, and he needs every bit of it.

If anything, this just proves Broly's sense of himself and his capabilites while in his LSSj state.

If their PL is equal, then what makes Broly's ki blasts any stronger than Tien's? They don't, exactly. And even if Broly could "outspeed" Tien, he's got enough tricks up his sleeve to stop Broly in his tracks.

Broly is about as skillful as a chimpanzee infected with Rabies. Tien is a martial artist with years of fighting under his belt. He's got more skill than even Goku, in my opinion. Broly is an ogre with no reasonable fighting skills.

Tien wins.
