For this fantasy match, we're using canon characters, but a non-canon circumstance:

We have a Fusion of Android 17 and Android 18 (Android....35?!) taking on the fat Majin Buu.

If my power comparisons for the Buu arc are close to accurate, this should be a pretty even fight.

I think Fat Buu would win. It all depends on how the multiplier works for the Androids fusion. I think if Buu continously grows angry, their potential power would still be nothing of any significance.

Hell 17 merging with original 17 was different from Fusion.

I should have been more clear:

We're talking a conventional Fusion, using the "dance", like Goten and Trunks performed.

If it's that type of fusion, I can still see Buu winning the fight. We know the Androids wouldn't be able to power-up any "super level", that would give them any sort of andvantage. They might not be much different then base Gotenks when it all comes down to it.

That's pretty much along the lines I was thinking.

I figure Android 18 to be "somewhere" between the boys' base forms, and their Super Saiyan forms.

That would put this Fused Android likewise someplace between base Gotenks (which is shown to be weaker than Buu) and Super Saiyan Gotenks (which is stated to be stronger than Buu). It's not pinpoint accuracy, but it's a range to start.

Another thing I just remembered:

Fusion supposedly lasts 30 minutes, but when a fighter sucks up energy, it cuts down the time. Now, the Androids have the opposite: their infinite energy reactors keep them from losing any energy at all. Could it have the opposite effect?

Do you think that this might let them stay Fused beyond that 30-minute limit?

That's a good point. I think the infinite energy would have to allow the fusion to last longer then 30 minutes; but, probably no more then an hour in my opinion; It all depends. I would agree that it should exceed basic fusion time, though.

Cyborg #17 from hell is a lot stronger than "normal" Cyborg #17.

That is what I was thinking. Although I don't think the fusion would last longer than 30 minutes.
