Ok so this is like the Nikushimi vs Alien Munkie thing.

Ok so i couldn't find any of the manga but i'm sure Dark Prince(he's the most reliable) could back me up. The Elder Kai stated that the Potara fusion is a better type of fusion.

Vegeto completely dominated Super Buu with using only 10-50% of his full power. Sure Gogeta killed Janemba but Janemba wasn't even on Superbuu's(gotenks absobed) level.

Since Gogeta is a movie character and non canon I can use Base Vegito's filler fight. Base Vegito at Base form was pummeling Super Buu so he could be somewhat equal to SS Gogeta so if he went SS he would pwn Gogeta easily. Even if They were equal Vegito would just have to stall 30 minutes and he would win.

Yes, it was stated the potara fusion was better. In volume 41, they said, it's like the fusion dance but that it'll work even better. Kibitoshin was impressed by the potara's power meaning he didn't expect them to give that much power, he perfectly knew what the fusion dance was capable of, therefore if he adds that the potara is even greater:

Vegeto>Gogeta. End of discussion.

Edit: You can't put SSJ4 Gogeta vs SSJ4 Vegeto, a fair fight would be SSJ4 Vegeto vs SSJ4 Gogeta and we all know the result.

damn. good point. lets see here. kabito kai has never done fusion before that time. so he would be surprised by the power increase regardless. and also vegito is in more of favor to vegeta with his fighting skill where gogeta in more in favor with goku. goku is the better warrior out of the two.(i like vegeta better though.)

Kibitoshin is a fused character by the potaras, he perfectly knows both fusion. If he states the potara fusion has much more power than he thought obviously it's because he didn't expect it to be that powerful, the only other fusion he had seen so far was the fusion dance, so he was directly comparing them. Therefore: Potara>Metamorese, hence Vegeto>Gogeta.

No such thing was ever stated, it's an assumption based on opinion and with no canon evidence. They never said Gogeta was like Goku they never said Vegeto was like Vegeta. They're both made from the same beings. They're just Goku+Vegeta.

during the fight the fight between vegito, buu owned them most the fight wereas janemba couldnt hurt gogeta. also goku has proven that he is the better fighter out of the two, so its only natural that gogeta, as awsome as he is would win the fight.

you know what. thats a bunch of bull. ur right vegito can beat gogeta. after thirty seconds the fight is over. i just wanted to argue. can ya blame me.
