Why is anime-version SSJ3 Goku stronger than Manga-version Goku? just curious.

Well in the anime SSJ3 Goku is shown to be able to handle himself fairly well against Gotenks Buu. Also in the Manga Goku was alot more worried about Super Buu than he was in the anime he said Super Buu would kill them but since Actions speak louder than words I'd say he's better. Plus he also could have (in the anime) not wanted to put Vegeta to shame again by showing off Super Saiyan 3. Torriyama on the other hand didn't write the work that way he clearly intended for Super Buu to be stronger than Goku, but with Toei Animation this was not the case.

SSJ3 Gotenks was barely stronger than Shin Buu, Goku was laughing at Shin Buu.

Both SSJ3 Goku and Chou Gohan were a joke to Shin Buu(Gotenks absorbed). Gohan can be either slightly stronger or weaker than Goku depending the way you look at it. Still, they're fairly close. SSJ3 Goku who is about equal to Chou Gohan was getting tossed around and Janemba was laughing at him.

I always looked at it like this, if Gotenks wasn't such a cunt, and was actually serious and wasn't trying to show off, Super Buu would've been done in. If Gotenks was serious and had gone SSJ3 from the beginning, I do believe he would've stomped Buu. I also think if SSJ3 Gotenks is serious he could beat Janemba. Just my opinion.

Janemba definitely had Goku beaten, no doubt. But I think Goku fought much better against Janemba then he did against Buu-tenks. Janemba had his sword and inter-dimensional thiny-ma-bob. And seeing as how Buu-tenks had Ultimate Gohan beaten, but Gohan fought decent in the beginning and still had enough strength to break Buu-tenks' Galactic Donut, I say he beats Janemba.
