Ssj3 Goku in GT, which is WAAY stronger than he was as a Ssj3 in Z, was thrashed by Bebi Vegeta.

Vegeta got THAT MUCH of a boost just from being pocessed by Bebi, and still being in base?!

Anyone got any theories, I'm baffled.

Well actually I've got some facts and some theory. First of all Vegeta was not in Base when he fought Goku, remember Vegeta had Black hair when Baby first possessed him (Still had those lines on his face), then Baby powered up and has a Golden Aura but he has Silver hair (Which is a result of Baby being inside him). In fact in the Episode closing there is a picture of Bebi-Vegeta powering up and is overflowing with Electricity. So I'd say That was actually SSJ2. Also had that to the fact that Baby gets stronger whenever he absorbs someone's energy. He'd been inside Goten & Gohan's Bodies and gotten powered up (Logically he would be since a few weak life forms he possessed had enough Ki to fuel his transformation into his 2nd Stage). Plus when Baby chooses a permanent host he probably multiplies their Power and since Bebi-Vegeta is in his SSJ2 state. Then he multiplies Vegeta's Power so the way I see it Bebi-Vegeta (In his initial state) can be on-par with SSJ3 Goku. However I should Point out that Goku didn't get "Thrashed" by Bebi-Vegeta 1 in fact he gave just about as much as he got Bebi hit him in the face and Goku shook it off Baby did the same with SSJ3 Goku (Until about 30 seconds passed and Goku went to normal) only when Baby transformed 2 times was Bebi-Vegeta able to "Thrash him". So hope this helps.

But SSJ4 Vegito offers a better more plausible answer than that.

Dude, Bebi as a child trashed Rhildo with a touch. Rhildo, who at a billionth of his power were as powerful as Majin Buu. Of course Bebi, after getting older/more experienced and mergining with the greatest fighter on earth would result in something epic. [/sarcasm]

Rilldo was killed by Goku, Pan and Trunks all shooting Ki beams at the same time he wasn't killed by Baby.

Well actually we don't know if SSj3 kid goku was as strong or stronger than SSJ3 Goku in Z because he was wished to be a kid again so maybe his body wasn't used to the full extent of Super Saiyan 3 than it was when Goku was an adult. So that may explain why he got thrashed so easily

He was far stronger than his Buu Saga self though, which is what the Green Dragon was confused about. Goku might have gotten weaker from his Adult self in GT but not his Adult Self in Z.

I dont think Goku got that much weaker after transforming into a kid, afterall the kids of the DB universe are awfully strong and can be stronger than adults, just look at Gohan, Goten and Trunks.

The reason I believe Baby Vegeta thrashed SSj3 Goku with little effort is because he was THAT strong. Baby Vegeta 3 would be a match for SSJ Vegito in my opinion.

Goku as a child cannot withstand the weight of his hair at SSJ3, which is why his power level decreased.
