There is no such thing as a False Super Saiyan

People are going around thinking that Goku was some kind of False Super Saiyan in anime Episode 195, in a filler scene that was never in the original manga, and was a scene specially made by ~~the fucktards~~ Toei.

What I want to know is. Where on earth are people getting this idea from? I'm genuinely interested in why people seem to be making up a form. We all know the reason to why Goku turned into a black haired Super Saiyan in Movie 4, it was because Toei actually didn't know what SSj looked like (it hadn't appeared in the manga yet).

SO where is this black haired Super Saiyan form coming from? The same place this 'Super Kaioken' came from? Anime filler?

Technically, Goku was actually a Super Saiyan 1 in Movie 4 (since Toei didn't know what it looked like yet) and was also a Super Saiyan 1 in the anime episode 195 - "A Great Inspiration!! I'm Ready! The Awesome Guy from the Next World".

It has been officially seen in the preview for episode 195 IN episode 194 of the same scene, but with Goku using his blonde haired form against the Ginyu force.

Toei changed it as a plotdevice and deliberate artist mistake.

I can't believe I have to explain this.

Can I please get some real Dragonball fans in here, or at least anyone who's seen the Japanese episode of 195.

He looked like a fake SSJ to me. In the Slug movie, he wasn't fully a SSJ, because his Kaioken+Piccolo's energy made that look like crap. It was just an odd version of a potential SSJ. Yes, it wasn't in the manga just yet, but it seemed like a Kaioken combination with SSJ to me.

at first it's really ssj.

later toei explains it to be a false ssj or half way to ssj.

it's a real form.

The form that we see Gokuu using in movie 4 was Toei's design for the Ssj form, because at the time Toriyama had yet to release his design for the Ssj form yet (as they created this movie prior to Gokuu transforming into an Ssj in the manga).

As I already explained in a message on that particular youtube video, what we see in the actual episode was a quick recolor so that Gokuu's ability to transform into an Ssj would be kept as a surprise from Paikuhan until their fight in the Budoukai.

It's just a fan-made name so people can identify that Goku is different from the way he looks when he first becomes a SSJ in the canon timeline in movie 4. Saying "there is no False SSJ." is like saying, "There is no MSSJ". Neither are official, just fan-made names.

And I'd like to think there's a great difference in power between "SSJ" Goku in movie 4 and SSJ Goku at the end of the Freeza saga so I don't really see the harm in giving Movie 4 Goku's "SSJ form" a seperate name.

Movies and fillers aren't canon, only the manga (by Akira) is, Toei's additional material isn't canon. Meaning even if there was a False Super Saiyan (which there isn't, because only Akira can officially state it), it wouldn't be canon anyway... in account of the movie and filler not being canon.

It's not a real form I don't really know what else to say about it. It's what Toei thought a SSJ would look like and then in this episode he uses it to conceal his Power apparently until Pikkon fought him. Although I have to admit Goku did look like he did in the Lord Slug Movie.
