Goku wouldn't be able to absorb Goku anyway, what with already having Goku's cells, and being in his Perfect form already, but GT blatently ignored that lol.

If he could, he'll be very powerful. I'ld put him above Ultimate Gohan if he was (hypothetically) able to go SSj, seeing as Goku in GT was so godmodded.

Actually every being that Cell sucked the life-force out of, the energy he gained was temporary. The only permament energy sources were 17's and 18's. But he could suck the life-force out of non-mechanically altered humans.
I think it's the same way with Boo. If the absorbed person inside him dies, then he loses his powers. Kaioshins have long life-spawns as stated by the Elder Kaioshin (I have only a few millennias left) before he gave his life to Goku.

I just think that Cell's body can't hold Goku period, Goku will resist just like SSJ Gotenks, or even his SSJ3 self in DBZ and anyone else above SSJ3 Power or at SSJ3 Power, Goku even says he was close to being digested.
