I don't know if this should be in the GT section or not, but how many years is it between the end of Z to the beginning of GT? I've heard sources say both 10 years and 5 years. Which is the truth?

I think 10. Pan was 4 at the end of Dragonball Z and if it was 5 years then she'd be only 9. I think she looks more 14 than 9. That's just my opinion though.

Since I don't want to make a topic to ask a question and this deals with time..how old was Gohan and Videl when they had Pan? 22?

the end of dbz was what two years after the buu saga so I say gohan was either 20 or 21 when he had pan with videl since videl and Gohan met in high school.

Yeah 22. Which to me is young but then again Goku and Chi Chi had Gohan when they were 19.

I thought it was 5 years after DBZ. To me, Pan doesn't seem like a 14 year old. To me she looks about the same age as Gohan when he defeated Cell and he was 9 at that time. Plus look at Gohan when he was 16. He was completely grown, yet if she was 14 she would be only two years younger than that, and she should have been taller and be more mature looking.

But I'm so confused about Bra. There is several ages listed for Bra. One being a year younger than Pan, one being a year older than Pan, and another one being a few years older than Pan. In DBGT Bra definately has to be at least 5 years older than Pan just by the way she looks. Bra is taller than Marron, and Marron is quite a bit older than Bra. Bra definately can't be younger than Pan just by the height difference, and Bra seems to look more mature than Pan.

This is the only scene I could find in DBGT when Pan and Bra are actually standing next to each other so you could see the height difference. As you can see Bra is over a full head taller. They can't just be 1 year apart.



If five years past since DBZ, and if we say that Bra is one year older than Pan that would mean she would only be 10 years old, and Bra looks a lot older than 10.

If we say 10 years past since DBZ. Then that would make Pan 14 and Bra 15. Pan doesn't look old enough to be 14.

So the only way I see that it would fit is if Bra is a few years older than Pan. I say Pan is about 9 in DBGT and Bra looks to be about 14. Bulma was already about 39 or 40 during the Buu Saga, and if they say she had Bra only a year before Pan was born, that would mean that Bulma was about 45 years old when she had Bra, which is sort of unrealistic. That's why I just think that Bra was born about a year after the Majin Buu Saga when Bulma was about 40 or 41. It would just be more realistic, and it fits in more with DBGT.
