When it comes to characters Tapion is one of the hardest to figure out how strong he acutally was. We never really get to see him fight, which would presume that he was weak, but because of the way characters talked about him, for instance Trunks always going on about how strong he was and how much of a hero he was, it makes me think otherwise.

Actually Tapion trapped himself and Hirudegarn in the box thingamajigger and it was Hoi who freed them both, Tapion knew that he should not have been freed.

Considering that he can use a sword, and also can do chi blasts... he is not completely a weakling.
I'd say he is powerful - in his home planet and etc, but compared to the saiyans-->weakling.
Probably about the same as Pan i would reckon since in the movie, when he fought that Hoi person and etc, Trunks was also in SSJ form.

...or probably he's like the Supreme Kai.XD He appears to be a weakling but he states all the supreme kais are a 1000 times mor epowerful than frieza and etc(I still don't understand how when all 5 of them fought buu to even land a proper punch on him, but that's off-topic lol).

Well I'd say Tapion is around Base Trunks & Base Goten since Gohan said when Tapion was coming out of the box that he senesed: "A powerful Ki" or something like that. So he can't be too weak, but I'd place him around Android 17 maybe.

Another Question, How strong is the little gremlin guy that awakens Hirudgarn?

When I watch him move and the such it reminds me of dragonball. So maybe he has like General tao's powerlevel, but then other times how he seems to be like Gero. But if he was so weak why doesnt Tapion kill him? Then maybe he has a powerlevel like Android 20?

Perhaps Tapion is in the low millions. Since They all reguard him for being decently powerful, maybe even higher.

So is Tapion weaker than The Warrior warlock of his race that orginally cut hirdegarn in two?

Some reason I always have trouble against Tapion on Tenkaichi 3. So he must be powerful right?

No i doubt that he is even stronger then 100% freza...just going by the fact that he didnt fight hirudegarden and didnt seemed strong at all

Agreed. He was probably slighlty stronger than some of the Saiyan's Base levels, or aleast around them.

UHH i just watched some parts of the movies again and there is really no way to tell ...not one single clue....i think its the best to not consider him a fighter
