It's Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Gohan against Dragon Ball GT Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta. Why does it automatically have to go in the GT section?

Actually, its the unofficial rule (could have sworn it was stickied / posted somewhere) that any Dragonball vs. match involving a Movie or GT character automatically goes to the GT / Movies section.

As far as I have always assumed, it was stated that Gohan's potential/hidden power/absolute plateau of ultimate limit/whatever was higher than Goku or Vegeta's. Ignoring Goten and Trunks for the moment, since they aren't pertinent to the actual topic at hand, and given that I've always interpreted the statement as meaning the absolute pinnacle beyond which no amount of training or modification can take you, and the inherent power you are ultimately born with, that would mean to my reckoning that Chou Gohan would always defeat SFX Vegeta. Since by the definition as I interpreted it, Vegeta would never be able to surpass his own absolute limit (makes sense right?) through his own biological mechanisms, of which SFX is one of them. Meaning that even if it were SFX Vegeta from GT, Chou Gohan from the Boo Saga would still be more powerful than him, and I figure it to be by a reasonable margin.

I see where your getting at, because Gohan is a half saiyan, his maximum possible potential he could ever reach might be, lets say 10 billion. Vegeta being a regular saiyan, would hit is maximum possible limit at like 5 billion. x10 oozaru is discluded, because both can do it, making it 100 billion and 50 billion, same thing.

I absolutely agree with you. The only thing is, even if Vegeta was to go SSJ1,000 he would still lose to Gohan because his absolute limits are lower than Gohan's. If you literally take SSJ4 Vegeta from GT and bring him in Z, without taking in account he can't surpass Gohan, SSJ4 Vegeta in GT wins easily.

SFX is Super Form X. You'll sometimes see it as such, or sometimes as Super Form 4 for Goku or Super Form 3 for Vegeta, since he never progressed to Super Saiyan 3. It's a somewhat less common alternative to Super Saiyan 4, since Super Saiyan 4 isn't technically the fourth level of Super Saiyan, proven by how Vegeta skips over SSJ3, but rather a combination of SSJ and Oozaru. I also like the term Primal Saiyan for the same reason.

SSJ4 Vegeta thrashes Ultimate Gohan with little or no effort. Vegeta skipped SSJ3, because he was engulfed with massive amounts of Blutz Waves, not because SSJ4 isn't an actual Super Saiyan form. But whatever, that's a different topic.

Agreed. And I don't think SSJ3 had anything to do with it, its not like they turned Oozaru, and then SSJ3 to become Golden Hairball? It seems to me that all that matters is base power, and SSJ1 power.
