So, if someone says he has the potential to become stronger, that's a direct reference to their maximum? It can't be. It's been stated throughout that their maximum power is their limits; they won't be able to get any stronger at that point, apparently.

The whole meaning of potential means everything that's already there.
Technically it's not the limit as you can add to what's already there. Potential is what is already there at the time.

It depends how you say it. If you take potential as in Evil Vegeta's sentence, then you are correct. If I say you have great potential, it refers to your maximum power.

You guys don't seem to understand. This isn't GT SSJ4. This is a Z SSJ4. In which case, Gohan would win.

Well if Vegeta were to theoretically go SSJ4 in the Buu Saga or would it be able to be at the end of the Manga (10 years later)? I'd estimate Vegeta to be a good amount stronger than Majin Vegeta 10 years later I'd say a theoretical SSJ3 Vegeta would probably be able to take out SSJ Gotenks but I'm pretty sure he couldn't beat Super Buu but judging by the gap between SSJ3 and SSJ4 I'd say Vegeta would be strong enough to kill Super Buu but since his PL is so much lower (than GT at least) he wouldn't be able to sustain the transformation long enough to beat Mystic Gohan. In the Buu Saga he'd be lucky to beat Super Buu.

He didn't specify. It doesn't matter what he wants the topic to be, because it's in the Z section now. If he wants to compare GT Vegeta he'll have to make a topic in GT or ask someone to move it.

There is no "theoretical SSJ4 Vegeta" as far as I'm concerned. We could speculate and get nowhere (and it seems like this is one of those topics). For example I could argue that the SSJ4 level could be FAR beyond the natural limitations of saiyans and so Vegeta could surpass Mystic Gohan. If this be the case then I do believe that SSJ4 Vegeta (in GT's timeline without the plotholes) would be slightly stronger than Mystic Gohan. Nobody knows for sure but we do know that the SSJ4 Vegeta that does make an apearacne is some 10 folds stronger than Mystic Gohan.

It's Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Gohan against Dragon Ball GT Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta. Why does it automatically have to go in the GT section?
