It's a matter of opinion wether or not Vegeto could defeat Shin Buu(Gohan absorbed) in his base form. I personally believe base Gogeta could dominate Janemba easily, SSJ Gogeta against Janemba wasn't even a fight.

Base Gogeta in DBZ doesnt stand a chance against Janemba IMO.
