The anally canon bitch (me) will actually agree with you on that. The Garlic Jr saga might have been stupid for story-telling, but the actual sparring that occured in that saga was some of the best sparring that happened after the Freeza arc.

The begining part of the Goku vs Cell battle was actually pretty cool too, or at least the anime version was. This one is one of the only ones post-Freeza arc that goes on my favorites list.

I loved the Goku Piccolo fight in "world's strongest". It was very Kung Fu-ish.

Yeah, I'd agree I thought the Garlic Jr. Saga would suck but it did have good action that's for sure. Alot of the sequences in SSJ3 Goku vs. Kid Buu and Majin Vegeta against Goku where pretty good too in my opinion (for Post-Freiza anyway).
