Yeah I do like GT. It's not the best but it's far from the worst. I just think people make shit up in their heads and just follow everyone else like lemmings and just say "plothole" for everything, or "GT sucks cause Toriyama didn't make it". It's just ridiculous.

Apart from SSJ4 Gogeta, GT is rubbish.

IMO.

And I think you'll find the term is "sheep", not "lemmings".

Yes i will have to agree with you........but i dont know Gt kinda looked a litlle bit childish in compare with Z (no offence)

If it's not the worse than what's the worse? DB or DBZ? Because, aside from the awesome pwnage that was SSJ4 and SSJ4 Gogeta, I didn't see anything good in GT, o yeah, SSJ and SSJ3 Kid Goku was pure ownage too.

Actually I should have said "Wildebeest", but there was nothing wrong with the term "lemmings"

I meant as an Amine, not a DB series. Personally I liked Ledgic, Rilldo, Baby Vegeta, Nuova, Eis and Omega Shenron for Villains. I like SSJ3 Goku also, SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta and Majuub. Plus I thought the red Shenron was cool. Just my personal opinion.

I dont know why people hate Gt so much i think that it was good.It was for sure better then Dragon ball , But it was worse then Z.The only think that bothers me where the first 20 episodes The Lost ones after that it was interesting.And the end could have been a lot better.

Yeah I know, we can't blame someone because he likes something. GT wasn't all that bad but I hated it because it had great potential but didn't use it. I mean, they could have used the SSJ4 and the moon to explain the origins of the saiyans and the black star dragon balls to explain what really are the dragon balls. I'm serious, the show had a greater potential than DBZ but it frustrated me that it just didn't exploit that potential. Instead, they just did hours of Goku pwnage, GT stands for Goku Television.

Oh and thanks for the bolded part, I always appreciate a compliment(Silly me)

Alright let me try and explain some stuff here.

Goku left with the dragon, to go to the otherworld since trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes, so he goes away and knowing Goku he trains.

Now in the other world you do not age past your prime, so when we see him again he pysically he would only be 30 or so, but in actuality he is 152.

So when we see him again in the GT special since he would be so strong he probobly would of surpassed like everyone, and insert AF fan fiction here.

and no he did not die in the end.

...the ending is deliberately left ambiguous and it opens to many different possibilities...HOWEVER....

...according to the clues we have left, it's possible to suggest that Goku is to leave and become a sort of a godly figure who shall watch over earth(but not just earth), let me explain...

At the very end before Goku goes off with nimbus, we hear the narrator say...

"And now we end the story of the dragonballs, with the hope that the earth will never again see the darkness which brough it to extinction so many times, but if that day comes, there is one, who will step out of the shadows and fight in the name of all that is good and true." (and btw, I wrote it down while listening to a clip of the ending on Youtube).

Now, what does that tell us? The reason Goku goes because he is mostly the one whose existence has brought trouble to the earth. And to get rid off human's dependence on the dragonballs so they can depend on themselves, the eternal dragon takes away them both.
Now..
...When Goku hops onto Shenron, he asks to pay his last visit to some old friends - and he sleeps on the dragon and the dragonballs disappeared into his body. Now, what does that symbolise? The dragonballs are part of him and what do they suually summon when brought together? Yup, Shenron, in other words, Goku - like the eternal dragon has received immortality (hence his body is them gradually brought back to his original self as he literally possess a similar power to the eternal dragon itself).

And the last bit in the quote above... you notice that the "one" is referring to Goku and he is going to fight for the right whenever the earth needs help right? So yes, in this way, we can regard him like a guardian, but realise that he is NOT watching over the earth like a fortune teller who is glued to her crystal ball.XD

Yes, you can also say that Goku is going to train, but the thing is, why did he say so? Did he completely mean it (I admit, he did mean it in some way but...) Who can't get enough of training and always wants to surpass Goku? ^__~.

And realise that Goku says, "he will be back soon", and Chichi took it literally but we can see that Goku is "coming back" in the sense that he will not foget about the earth but shall look over it like a God.

I hope that sums the things up a bit, and of course, liek I stated in the beginning, there can be different interpretations but this is the the most likely truth.

I did not take the time to read all of that post. I really never even saw the ending of DBGT I got bored sometime in the middle of the series of somebody could tell me what happened that would be great if not...oh well.

I just got one thing to say....

Well since I've never actually seen all of GT I might be very wrong, but it just seems to make me think about it, like does Golden Oozaru really require SSJ3 level of power? I mean vegeta accesed it.

How come Gohan can't go Golden Oozaru and then SSJ4? When he was born he was able to go Oozaru, so wouldn't that mean he can now?

Again, never watched the whole thing...
