Doesnt need to be stated. We already learned the users must be equal in power to fuse, Goku was stronger so he had to lower his power level, doesnt matter if we dont see it, doesnt mean it did happen, just like in that Janemba movie.

SSJ4 Goku was stronger than Nova.
SSJ4 Vegeta is weaker than Nova.

When was stated that Goku was stronger than Vegeta at the time of fusion? Also Vegeta and Son Goku bases are equal in Movie 12 as well in Majin Buu arc.

When do you see this in the Anime (wich is not a very good source)? I've never once seen that Goku was stated or seemed stronger than Goku. On several occasions Vegeta and Goku duked it out and in not one of those did Goku EVER beat Vegeta easy. I think if Vegeta tried a little harder he could have wiped out Goku during the Majin Vegeta/Fat Buu saga.

Edit: If you think you're right please show conclusive proof.

Nova > SSJ4 Goku (Speed)

SSJ4 Goku > Nova (Strength)

I have them even Goku managed to keep up with Nova's speed just barely , and Nova held his own in the fight. When SSJ4 Vegeta arrived on the scene he got pwned badly, he couldnt keep up with Nova's speed like Goku could, and showed no signs of being SSJ4 Goku's equal.

Their fight (Vegeta) was barely nothing. Vegeta probably thought (like he always do) Si Xing Long was a weakling and his new SSj4 powers would trash him. Though Si Xing Long speed surprised him.

Vegeta didnt even land a single hit on Nova, he was outclassed by Nova's strength and speed.

Vegeta knew Si Xing Long was preparing something and he didn't attack him with his all strength. He just surprised Vegeta with his speed nothing more. Goku stated that he could beat Yin Xing Long after him defused with Vegeta from Gogeta when Yin Xing Long was without Dragon Balls absorbed. Well this same Yin Xing Long killed Si Xing Long and at that time Vegeta was equal with Son.

Vegeta wasnt equal with anyone, he was a sorry excuse for a ssj4.

Omega > SSJ4 Goku >= Nova > SSJ4 Vegeta.

If Vegeta was suprised by Nova's speed, he would have picked himself back up and fought back, but he could not, he was helpless.

I'm not sure if SSJ4 Vegeta is stronger than Ozaru Baby Vegeta
