Who liked DBGT?

Who liked DBGT at one time in your life. I think a lot of people here liked GT before they found out Toriyama didnt make it or before they came to this forum and heard everyone talking about how much they hate it. I have always been a fan of GT, so have you ever liked it. Discuss.

I like it! Of course it isn't as good as DB or DBZ but it is actually pretty good.

I really enjoyed the Bebi arc mainly the first episodes when Bebi is possessing all Earth population. Super Saiyan 4 was also pretty good though just like SSj its magic disappear too soon.

Loved the ending too though I would loved it more if Yin Xing Long actually would win the fight. Well it would be something far different from what we already had and for the first time a villain would triumph on the good guys. Though the actually end was pretty good too.

I only got as far as Super 17 so i not sure what the rest of its is like but what I have seen is pretty good, It was not as good a DB or DBZ but I enjoyed it.

I think that assumption is pretty accurate, not with everyone though. I've always liked GT. It obviously can't touch Z cause Z was groundbreaking and long as hell. But nonetheless I liked GT also.

GT was alright, but the reason why people hate it is not because Toriyama didn't make it, but because of the people who did make it did not spend much time on the production of the series. Overall, the story was alright, even the villains were not too bad. The worst one was Super 17 however, because bringing the Cyborgs and Androids back after 27 years is just...gay, considering Cell was supposed to be the "Ultimate Android". I liked Baby though. I loved the how he was a Tuffle. His saga actually had a good plot, but they should've expounded upon it, and make the fights a lot better. Like the fight between SSj4 Goku and Golden Oozaru Baby Vegeta was pretty gay.

Recall that the long drawn out fights are just filler though. Dragonball GT has no filler compared to Dragonball Z. Of course, that does not stop one from purposely extending fight scenes. Dragonball GT was too fast.

I've never really been a fan of GT, but even I'll admit that there are several things about it that don't bother me enough to complain too bad. As a canon Dragon Ball fan, I hate the series; but as a general anime fan, it's not that bad.

I look at it simply as a series created soley for entertaining the Dragon Ball anime fandom, however, when you attempt to logicalize it with the canon series, it doesn't make sense.

I used to think GT was ok but every day I find it more and more unlogical. I admit I like my entertainment to make sense. Like SaiyajinPerfection said, i'm a fan of the DBZ Canon, and DBGT does everything it can to go against that. I mean I didn't like Chou Gohan much but they should have kept it for logical purposes, as with many other things.

I understand the purpose that DBGT and TOEI were going for, they wanted to round up the events of Goku's life and they wanted to try and round it up by making it similar to the start (Dragonball) to create a sort of 'U' shape with Goku being a kid again. Goku starting out as a kid, then growing into an adult, then to summerize the entire seasons they wanted to end it on Goku being a kid against to rekindle the original Dragonball season before the final episode. Obviously they had to keep in DBZ features like Vegeta, Trunks, Super Saiyans. But the godmodding of Goku put me off eventually, it was un-needed.

*Goku hogging basically every good battle in the series
*The hurried pace the series seemed to take when compared to DBZ
*Numerous plot holes
*Resurrection of previously used villains and ideas
*List goes on
