I've never seen it, and never will. The moment I heard of its initial plot (Goku becomes kid, a grand adventure starts) I was iffy, then I heard they introduced another SSJ state and swore off it forever.

Super Cool

I used to think it was cool. Around 2003-2005 I liked it and thought it was cool. Looking back I can tell it's not as good(or that good) as I thought it was.

I liked certain parts of it. The things I liked were the Baby Saga and the addition of Super Saiyan 4. The things I didn't like...

-Making Goku a kid again
-Pan
-Making everybody weak except Goku
-Lack of fast-paced action scenes
-Horrible soundtrack. Why did they get rid of Faulconer?
-Making Pan more of a main character than Vegeta

But some parts I thought were really cool.

The reason many people dislike GT is not necesserily that Toriyama wasn't involved but that there were way too many plotholes. Though that does not explain why certain GT haters like the DBZ movies. Personally what I disliked the most about GT is the fact that Goku is so immensly strong that he is like a god and how a lot of the fights shouldnt even be taken seriously, case and point Luud. Another problem I had with GT was that the fights were horrid. A fight would start, someone would fire an energy blast, the other person would dodge it and start to mock the person who fired it. There would then be a flashback and then some more energy blasts. But 60% of the fights would be talking/mocking. Very minimal hand to hand combat attacks. Other things I dislike include Goku becoming a kid, Pan in general, Vegeta's new look, and probably more I can't think of right now.

Though the few bright spots in my opinion were that the plot ideas seemed interesting. I thought the Baby saga had an interesting plot and so did the shadaow dragon saga. The Super 17 saga had that "Garlic Jr." type feeling to it and really wasn't the best (though the last episode was good in my opinion). I also like SSJ4 and the fact that Goku and Vegeta were the strongest (In my opinion they really should be). I can actually say I enjoyed watching the last three epsidoes of GT though and maybe one or two others but other than that, the series in my opinion is mediocre at best.

android 17... enough with the androids!!!! and we didnt need to see cell and freeza again.... baby was original.

PAN was annoying beyond measure. Vegeta went soft...Trunks and Goten went soft. Piccolo had a minimal part. And him dying was uber dumb.

As much as Pan is trashed... I still think her impact on the suckiness of the show is under rated.

First Cyrax great comparisons in there, no doubt.

Second I tend to think DBGT got a fast paced similar the way Dragon Ball manga is fast paced too comparing to Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z.

Third the only damn thing I think it is really annoying aren't the supposed plotholes because with just an open mind you can manage theories that clearly make sense and exclude the plotholes.

Anyways the thing that really annoying me is the lack of other characters. Until Shadow Dragons saga I really didn't have too many complaints since the Grand Tour arc justifies the protagonism to Goku, Trunks and Pan. Bebi arc most of all characters go their screen time just like in Super #17 saga (though it could have been better, specially Uub) but in the Shadow Dragons saga it was simple the worst. In what Dragon Ball universe Gohan, Vegeta, Uub, etc would simple leave Goku to fight all Shadow Dragons by himself with Pan? Not even in the (I mus say) retard timeline of Trunks that would happen.

They got there a great chance to weaker characters like Goten, Trunks, Gohan, etc could fight since most S. Dragons are weak. Not to mention it was in the beginning of this saga that Super Saiyan 4 greatness start to vanish.

So I take it you didn't like the Shadow Dragons Saga, lol. One thing I will say is you're right, they wouldn't have let him fight the Dragons alone, and of course they had to add Pan to fight the Dragons with him. But they did end up coming and helping Goku in the end, and Gohan wore that gi that looked like Goku's in Z, and that was cool... instead of him fighting in a suit and tie. Other than that, I agree with the whole "plothole" thing. Thats just bullshit people say to hate GT. Most, if not all, "plotholes" in GT are very explainable.

Not really! After all I liked the saga for what it was though it could have been much, much better. The last part you mentioned where all Zet Senshi came to help Goku was by far one of the best part of all DBGT.

Eh, GT failed through and through. I found absolutely no redeeming qualities about it when compared to DB/Z.. The Bebi saga was the only one with potential and it failed hard. The Dragons shouldn't have been that powerful being that the eternal dragon himself was killed by King Piccolo. Super 17 was just a copy off the Android saga.
