Yes that's true but they aren't Piccolo fanboys or anything like that. Piccolo actually was head butted kick across the floor kicked into the air and blasted by Broly, and he only has a few scratches where as Gohan didn't put up that resistence. If Gohan was a MSSJ I would just think he might at least do better than Piccolo who is at his Cell Game Level (Since I think he was training in the ROSAT during the day they were on "New Vegeta" which would also explain where he was for most of the Movie)

It's not like Broly hits everybody with the same force, effort, or power. Every one of his attacks will cause different levels of damage, depending on his controllability. Vegeta was defeated in one hit. One hit! Piccolo took a few more hits than Vegeta and was able to survive. Is Piccolo stronger than Vegeta? In no way. So it's apparent that Broly was toying with the Zet Senshi the entire fight. He could've chosen any given point in time to annihilate them, but he exercised restraint because he wanted to see them suffer.
