Gohan first fought Broly when he was kid, right? Now, this was during the seven years of peace when he lost power from not training. So, Kid Gohan>Teen Gohan. Gohan says to Broly: He's powered up considerably since the last battle, in which he was a MSSJ/SSJ whatever your opinion is on that.

No matter how weak Gohan was, SSJ2>MSSJ/SSJ anytime. So, for Gohan to make a quote such as that, he would've had to have been talkin about SSJ2. If he powered-up that much from before, while growing weaker at the sametime, then that makes no sense.

I couldn't find what I had written because of how many threads and pages there were. But the fact of the matter is, Gohan showed that he had two different hairstyles in Movie 10. The first one, upon transforming, only had one bang coming down, and his hair was so refined you'd swear on your soul he was an SSj2 if it wasn't for his lack of sparks. Second time, we can see that he has two, one little, the other a bit bigger, which depicts he was MSSj right there [when he transformed to throw his Kamehameha at Broly]. If you wanna talk about observation, then we can do that. If you take a look in the Great Saiya-man Arc, he looks to be exactly the same as he was in the end of Movie 10, with his two bangs of hair coming down. In the World Tournament, his SSj2 state's hair looked quite the same to his hair in Movie 10 upon first transforming. And in both cases he had only one hair bang coming down. My theory on Vegeta being SSj2 in Movie 12 is a very logical one, and it makes sense. So I don't see how you could call it crap. And, if it makes sense, then it would also make sense here in Movie 10, considering said observations. Toei is not perfect, and so, they will make mistakes. It's been proven to happen in GT, so why not here with the Movies? Just because it's DBZ then? My friend, even Toriyama made mistakes. We know that almost all of the movies have some kind of error in it, whether it be character misplacements, power level fallacies, or miraculous defeats, usually there is some kind of mistake made. I think you're just totally closed to the possibility. Nothing I say can bring you to a realization, so debating like this is pointless. Trust me, if I had evidence that Gohan was Super Saiyan 2 in Movie 10, I would post a thread saying, "Evidence that Gohan was SSj2 in Movie 10", then you'll know. But this thread is just my opinion on the matter...so believe what you want. I ain't gonna change my view on this.

Assuming Gohan was MSSJ in Movie 8. If it was mid-rosat his teen self would still be stronger.

All I remember him saying is "He's as much of a challenge as before."

Errrrr..... Using Brolys fan logic. I can said, Vegeta movie 7 is Vegeta (Post-Second Rosat). So, Super Android 13 is far stronger than Semi-Perfect Cell. Somebody prove I am wrong.

If you have it, just watch what Gohan says after his little clash with Broly before Videl interferes. Also, you're right; it depends if you believe they are mid-rosat or post, but I don't see how he could've powered-up that much if weakened in seven years. His mid-rosat self should still be stronger.

Power goes form-for-form. They don't compare different forms. If they did, Goku wouldn't be claiming to be even with Majin Vegeta, now would he?

It's clear that #10 is around the time of the seven years, so how is Teen Gohan>Kid Gohan? The only way he could be, is if he's a SSJ2.

I have some commentary. Of Broly, I've noticed that his speed does not seem to go down as he transform into his much bulkier form. His powerlevel, however, goes up at a constant rate and then levels off. However, Broly does not show this kind of speed constantly throughout the movie. I am assuming that the transformation does have a small increase in speed but the power of Broly and his arrogance makes him believe that he doesn't need to show/prove his speed while fighting the Z-fighters, especially a broken-down Goku.
