That whether it's Vegito or Gogeta, the fusion always ends up looking almost exactly like Goku? I mean, Vegito has Vegeta's hair (minus the widow's peak, the best part of Vegeta's hair) and like his boots and gloves. Gogeta, I'm not even sure if he has any Vegeta characteristics. I just never thought that was very fair to Vegeta, it wasn't like a fusion at all--Vegeta might as well have just 'shared his power' with Goku like they do in the movies.

Well I actually found them both to be a genuine mix of the two.

Vegetto

I saw Vegetto's hair (even at base) to be exactly the same style of when Sangokou's first went Super Saiyan on Namek personally, making that a Sangokou characteristic. Vegeto's nature however was alot of Vegeta's, the Saiyan pride, the toying around (yes, even Vegeta had that cue the Semiperfect Cell battle), the violent nature). It was Vegeta's personality but with the optamism and face of Sangokou.

Gogeta

The hair seems to be a genuine mix but the facial features defiantly go to Vegeta. The nature of Gogeta in the movie is hard to tell as we see him only briefly but i'll say it was Sangokou's calm and collected personality with the aggresion of Vegetas. The Gogeta from GT however was alot different, it had Sangokou's facial features and personality and the hairstyle was blatantly from Sangokou... what do you expect, GT was Goku's time.

Even though Vegetto favored Goku in appearence, I believe in overall personailty while fighting, he favored Vegeta. Vegetto was cocky and manipulative.

Gogeta favored Goku in both departments, appearence and personality. Even though we only see him for a split second in Movie 12, the evidence to his Goku personality is when he smiles in a rather friendly manner at the end of the fight. Gogeta's personality when he reappears in GT is seen to mimck Gotenks's. In movie 12, You can definitely tell the physical similarities between Gotenks and Gogeta, the only major difference being that he has a freely hanging lock of hair. I believe that even though his body and personality favored Goku, his hair and eyes were mainly Vegeta's, and that's the part that most people pay attention to.

The only difference between Vegeta and Goku is the hair on their heads. Of course a fusion is going to look like Goku, since Vegeta's hairstyle is the only thing that sets them apart.

Mostly true, except for the eyes as well, their eyes are completely different. Toriyama tends to draw Vegeta with a shorter but more angled face, bulkier shoulders, bigger ears and a less curved mouth. In the anime, there are more detailed differences such as noses and even body parts like arms, pects, and legs.

Well I did say pretty equal cause I would think Goku fighting as SSJ4 a few times would make him a little stronger, but barely if at all, IMO. In DBZ of course Goku was stronger, thats why I didn't comment on that lol. And I thought it was fusions in general between Goku and Vegeta, and how Gogeta's physical appearance favors Goku's? Not just DBZ fusions.

There is nothing to suggest that SSj4 Goku is stronger than SSj4 Vegeta. Well for what we can see both have the same power.
