Hmph. The second time he ate the fruit, Goku had already extracted a good deal of energy from the Shinseiju for his final Genki Dama, leaving them "juiceless". That's why Turles didn't get as big of an increase as the first time he ate it, if by that time an increase at all. I don't think you could justify that the fruit's power is temporary either, since we saw no decrease in Turles' power.

1. I think I heard somewhere that Toriyama stated in an interview that Cell could use the Genki Dama, however never had him use it. But it doesn't matter, in the time that it would've taken him to gather the energy for it, Gohan could've killed him.

2. I don't think that Turles could go SSj by eating the fruit alone. Also it is often a misconception that the Super Saiyan is the result of a simple ki increase, which is false. Vegeta implied once that the Super Saiyan occurs when the Saiyan reaches their natural limit an is overcome with rage:

"And then I ran into a wall, my own limits. In the rage I felt toward myself, I awoke into a Super Saiyan."

Goku states earlier against Freeza:
"I am the legendary warrior, with a pure heart awakened by rage... Son Goku, the Super Saiyan!!!!"

Of course I will admit that the pre-requisites change for the Super Saiyan as the series continues.... Chibi Trunks isn't pure anything, but he was still able to transform.

Guys that 'pure hearted Ssj' crap was only for the Legend of the Ssj, which happened to be Goku, the pure hearted crap only applies to Goku.

Vegeta fought it applied to him too because Vegeta always wanted to Goku's match and better, so wanted to be like him on all levels and then overlap him... thus Vegeta somehow convinced himself that he needed to be pure of heart.

Look at the amount of Ssjs in the series, the pure heart stuff is rubbish.

If Turles eats enough fruit then gets angry, he'l be a Ssj easily.

Lol, I don't think that eating fruit will ever turn anyone SSJ, unless there's like a glowing, yellow, spikey haired strawberry but hey it might just be radioactive.

Anyways, the pure heart stuff is pretty much just for effect. It's the opposite actually. If you get angrier, and angrier you just want to kill that person not be "Good of Heart"

But that's exactly why it can't be explained as simply as that, because it is a theory, and a fanboy one at that. And that theory has no grounds because of the character Bra, who was conceived when Vegeta was SSJ2.

Bra has the same genetic compostion of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, therefore if that theory was indeed correct, Bra would have the Super Saiyan ability, despite her gender disadvantage.

Why could anybody think that SSj is just a male thing? Since Toriyama stated that he can't draw a SSj female we must assume that such thing as SSj females don't exist. Even we never saw any SSj female as far as DBGT went. So why not SSj be exclusive to masculine gender?

Well, it makes sense. I mean thing about it. To turn into SSJ requires an extreme amount of anger, feeling, emotion, and pure testosterone. I am not a sexist I'm just saying that when somebody turns SSJ they are basically releasing every single bottled up emotion ( Check out Gohan going SSJ for the first time) since men tend to bottle every feeling up, and women express their feelings weeelllll, it makes sense that only the males can turn SSJ.

Although in theory, a female could turn SSJ but I don't think any of them had such a feeling where they thought their life was in danger.

Another theory is that they could turn SSJ4. Female Saiyajins can still go Oozaru so technically, eventually they may be able to ascend even higher, and higher to SSJ4.

It doesn't need to be an exterior part of the body. It could be and probably would be in the interior of Saiyan body.

Maybe something similar to how women make milk or why men have beard and more hairy that women.

Well exactly...i'm saying lets compare the Human body to the Saiyan Body. What Organ/Body Part do you think would trigger the ability to go SSJ.

The two things we already know is:

*That it doesn't really have an age limit (Look at Goten and Trunks who went SSJ at 8 years old)

*It is probably on the inside of their bodies, and is activated with extreme emotion.

I think he can absorb the Spirit bomb like Goku did. Cell power would be similar to Fat Buu for few seconds.
About Turles:
I think if he eat 300 or 400 fruits, he would became SSJ.
