Why is fur used for the Super Saiyan 4 form. It makes no sense.

It's like they used Old Spice Shower Gel and BOOM theres body hair.

I know this is a TOEI thing.

SSJ: NO HAIR
SSJ2: NO HAIR
SSJ3: NO HAIR
SSJ4: HAIR???

Why the fur!!!

They just compressed the Golden Oozaru form. There has to be fur. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.

It's compressed the same way...

Ultra Super Saiyan is compressed into a Super Saiyan 2.
How Freeza's bulky second form is supressed into his final form.
How Cell's bulky second form is supressed into his final form.

Basically the Super Saiyan Four transformation isn't really the fourth transformation in the Super Saiyan line, it's really just the Oozaru form taken and with the form's slow and clumsy nature (due to being a huge ape) is removed/adopted into a Saiyans' natural form.

Ssj4 is reached when a Saiyan controls himself or herself (although that's a different debate) while in the Super Saiyan Great Ape form, because of this... a Ssj4 is rational.

Lol, but all Super Saiyan 4 is, it's just a cross between base and Oozaru, Thats all it is...

Exactly.

The fur always looked a bit stupid to me, but without it the transformation would be even stupider in my opinion.

This the same thing if you ask why SSj has golden air. It is stupid! It has fur like SSj form has golden air. Because they wanted that way. Not to mention there wasn't any other way to increase Goku's level seeing SSj3 form was his maximum.

Without fur it would look more stupid, why the hell would long blond stuff super saiyan hair suddenly turn into wavy wild black hair?
