Gotenks in DBGT.....

I was re-watching the Baby saga and man, I was so pissed cause Trunks and Goten were gonna fuse, then Goku told them not to bother and to give him their strength instead(oh how i hate goku so). I mean that might have been the highlight of GT if Gotenks made an appearance and battled Baby Vegeta. I think it would've been good and I wonder how he would have looked to a degree. I mean they already achieved SSJ3 against Buu, maybe they could have gone SSJ4 as well. Don't get me wrong I liked SSJ4 Gogeta, but still. Just my thoughts.

That's the problem with DBGT, it's Gokuu's time to shine, yet again.

Gotenks would have be a nice asset to GT's roster of characters, but sadly, he was nowhere to be seen. And it would've done them more good to have Gotenks battle Bebi, or even have Gotenks give Gokuu his energy.

Gotenks would have been hit once, and died. There is no point in having Gotenks in GT.

Hit once and died? Being a fusion they would have been more powerful then SSJ3 Goku who failed miserably against Baby Vegeta. Most likely around Majuub who fought evenly with Baby Vegeta. And like I said there could have been SSJ4 Gotenks.

Scoring zero hits, and having his beam overpowered and being turned to candy, while Baby doesn't break a sweat, is not "fighting evenly".

Majuub lost completely. And Baby wasn't even trying.

Realistically, considering Trunks and Goten wouldn't have increased massively in PLs since DBZ, and that Goten being weaker would affect Gotenk's balance, Even if Adult Gotenks went Ssj3 he'ls still be weaker than a Super Saiyan 2 Kid Goku (GT).

Bebi outclassed a Super Saiyan 3 Kid Goku (GT), Gotenks wouldn't have been much help in a fight against Bebi.

Still, I do agree that if they fused they could have given Goku far more energy, but Goku is a selfish fool that doesn't want anyone else to have the spotlight.

Dude re-watch the fight in Japanese, then think about what you said. First of all, lets take it one step at a time. Uub fuses with Majin Buu. He goes after Baby Vegeta. He finds Baby Vegeta. He powers up and starts fighting Baby Vegeta. He misses his first attack. He then kicks Baby Vegeta in the side if the head(theres the one hit you said he didn't "score"). Then he misses the chocolate beam. Immediately after he does another even stronger chocolate beam. Baby Vegeta blocks it and seems to be pushing it back towards Majuub and deflects it. Majuub gets turned into chocolate and Baby Vegeta eats him.

Now, Majuub let himself be turned into chocolate in order to attack Baby Vegeta from the inside. You'd know this if you watched it in Japanese. I'll write what it says:

Baby: I-impossible! I'm sure I turned him into chocolate!(they play the clip where Uub gets turned into chocolate)

Uub: You think I would be stupid enough to be done in by a specialty move that I'm more familiar with than anybody else!?

Baby: Why, you...! So, are you saying you let yourself be eaten by me on purpose!?

Uub: That's right! I thought I would smash you up from the inside, see?

Like I said they fought evenly, even if it was a brief fight. Majuub had his own plan of attack is all.

Your right on the not training aspect, still would have been interesting though. I don't think Goten is that much weaker to make a difference but I get what your saying.

Utter truth be told, a GT appearance of a Teen Gotenks versus a Super Baby Vegeta would've been a much better show than watching SSj4 Gogeta play with his balls the whole time. [excuse the crudeness of that]

Yeah i'm not saying Goten was completely weak, but Gotenks in DBZ was very effective because Goten and Trunks were very similar PLs. In DBGT they were not, Trunks was definatly superior, which may affect the effectiveness of the Fusion Dance IMO... it may make Gotenks weaker than if they were the same PL, but that's just my intake... the fusion may not even be possible, it might come out as the deformed skinny Gotenks even if the dance is done right.

well no matter what.. gotenks still wouldt be able to beat baby vegeta...and like i remebr in one scene they also tried to fuse and someone stoped them

I don't think they would have opted to fuse if it would've had disastrous results. Goku told them to not bother cause they still wouldn't be strong enough to beat Baby Vegeta, and he was right. The only other time, besides Uub and Majin Buu, that fusion was mentioned was against Omega Shenron when Majuub asked Gohan, Goten and Trunks if either one of them wanted to fuse with him to help Goku. Gohan told Majuub that in order for it to work he would have to heal up cause he had just gotten his ass kicked by Omega Shenron and was beaten up and badly weakened.
