I don't think Trunks was superior to Goten in GT. They would be exactly the same as they are at the end of DBZ. However like Goku said, Gotenks wouldn't be anything near to beat Bebi since their fusion in SSj3 form wouldn't be stronger than Goku SSj2 at that time and we know what Bebi did to Goku SSj3 power.

Goten and Trunks both slacked on training after the Buu battle, Vegeta states it to Goku when he visits him and the readers are introduced to Pan. For all we know, a GT Gotenks could've been weaker then his younger self. Not much help against Bebi.

True that... but Trunks was in space with Goku and Pan battling villains and such, so he had to have gained some sort of power. Goten fought Baby, but that wouldn't have mattered since it was a relatively short fight. Trunks though, was stronger then himself at the beginning of GT. Hell, Trunks even managed to topple Golden Oozaru Baby Vegeta with a ki blast, even though he caught him off guard.

Well, if most of the guys who created GT didn't have their heads up their butts, and didn't go "Oooohhh! GOKU GOKU GOKU GOKU!!", then maybe they would've 'made' Goten, Trunks and other characters who were otherwise rendered useless in GT to train hard and we could've seen Gotenks again, and maybe less coverage of that little shit named Pan.

It's true that TOEI are Goku fanboys, but most of Japan was at the time I'm guessing, for the simple fact that Gohan was supposed to be the hero in the Buu saga and defeat Buu, but the cries from the Goku fanboys made Toriyama change the story and once again make Goku the hero. GT aired right after Z ended so it only makes sense they would carry on in that manner. I don't agree with it cause I hate Goku, but it is what it is. For what it's worth GT had some cool villains and some good battles, IMO. I didn't think it was great but I liked it. Trunks wasn't too useless. He was all through the Lost Episodes with pan and Goku(even though they sucked), he put Golden Oozaru Baby Vegeta on his ass, and he managed to hold off Omega Shenron long enough for Goku and Vegeta to fuse. He still kicked ass.

No it wasn't. I said that cause of the battles he had in space with Goku and Pan, he would've been stronger cause thats what happens when saiyans fight. Just common sense.

Not it isn't. Saiyans only get stronger if they receive a Zenkai not just because they fight. Also IIRC Trunks didn't fight any battle that he had troubles since most of the time Goku fight. So I don't think Trunks is stronger than Goten.
