No not really as most off of the correct fusions are taller than their seprate base bodies, Vegetto is taller than Son Goku and Vegeta. Though its probably down to the same reason Gotenks is taller than both Chibi Trunks and Son Goten, it’s probably the average heights. For example I'm guessing (although its should all make sense):

Son Goten is 4'3
Chibi Trunks is 4,6

There height by just adding the two together would be 8'9, and that isn't the case so let’s use the mathematical expression of the mean:

4.3 + 4.6 = 8.9 / 2 = 4.35

Sadly that didn’t work either.

It’s probably due to the amalgamation of body masses. Or just the way Akira Toriyama wanted to design him; really tall.

maybe he did maybe he didnt but i think it s toei..i was just asking beacouse in dbz when a fusion is done thers not a drastic height change like here but again its gt

I'm not sure if Toriyama made the character design for GT. I heard that he was not involved at all but some people claim he made the design of Goku SSj4.

First, you did the mathematics wrong. Its 4 ft. and 3 inches and 4 f 6 inches, and not 4.3ft and 4.6ft. They are not the same

Second, what I think is that its the difference of the heights that gets added up. eg.,
Goku: 5'7" or 5'8"
Vegeta: 5'2"-5'3"
Vegito: About 6'1"

Anyways, I don't think that my own explanation is satisfactory either. They're basically taller because Akira Toriyama wants them to be.

Two words: Leg Extensions.

He is an andriod, so no matter how tall he gets; it is not something out of the ordinary.

Yeah thats what I heard too, but I also heard he did some... either way he did character designs for GT. I also heard he had a part in the development of GT. People say he had nothing to do with GT cause they don't wanna believe he did. They've jumped on the "i hate gt" bandwagon so badly they won't even admit that Toriyama approved anything TOEI did... movies, GT, and fillers.
