yup.

He would be able to destroy 19 and 20, but he'd be useless from then on. And once Cell shows up, he's just a shiny guy who watches the fights, just like all the other weak guys.

Lol, #17 or #18 could do that without no problem. Cell would just be overdoing it. Cooler would be good if his asset is to take hits; his fighting skills wouldn't help.

My point is:
Many enemies became Z Warriors like Piccolo, Vegeta, A-16 (few chapters) or A-18.
But Androids cann't increse his power to fight future enemies exept A-19 and A-20.
So, I think Meta-Cooler would be a great Z warrior because he increse his power in the middle of the fight against stronger enemies.

Other then Piccolo for a bit, we know the only ones who were able to do anything significant, were Super Saiyan's. Now, could Cooler serve more of a purpose then Yamcha or someone like that? Yes, he certainly would.

Meta-Cooler might take the role of Piccolo when he fused with Kami, in the sense that he could fight off 17 (maybe) before getting owned by Cell and fading into non-existence. He really wouldn't be that useful.

Yeah, but Meta-Cooler can survive Semiperfect Cell like Goku did when he save Tien and Piccolo. (using the Instant transmission).
Them He can train with Piccolo in the Rosat to fight in Cell games.

Cooler and Piccolo have completely different personalities and would clash completely. I doubt it would be helpful for them to spend a year together.

Piccolo could have become all-powerful if he had a brain.

Two things:

Nameks can spit out kids whenever thay want.

If a Namek assimilates another Namek, the result is a fighter that is many times stronger than the sum of his parts.

So, Piccolo could have just had a few kids. Then, assimilate them like he did Nail. His power would multiply every time he did it.
