Well if GT kakarrot and GT vegeta used the potara, Vegetto would look like a teenager. And since the fusion is permanent Vegetto already has an advantage over Gogeta, that right there makes him better then Gogeta. So of all fusions we know Vegetto is the very best.

But Vegetto cannot go super saiyan 4. So it doesn't make sense that someone who cannot go super saiyan 4 could surpass it's power.

In my opinion...I think Gogeta was holding back against Omega, but even with that. A super saiyan 4 Vegetto would dominate over all.

Super Saiyan 4 in DBGT was way overpowered, somehow TOEI gave Goku some sort of fucked up mystic power during his training with Uub that fucked things so much that made his Kid Ssj form in GT overpower his Adult Ssj3 form in Z.

These Vegeto Vs Ssj4 discussions only REALLLY work if Goku went Ssj4 in DBZ.

Goku didn't get anything outrageous. He got stronger over the years of training, that's all.

And I don't think the multipliers are as high as people think. I put a Super Saiyan 3 at only about 3x Super Saiyan, if that.

So, to make his new Super Saiyan form as strong as his previous Super Saiyan 3, he would only need to triple his power ..... in 15 years!

You don't think he could do it?

Beginning of Dragonball to Goku's return to Earth and meeting Trunks = 15 years.

Goku at beginning of DB = about 20
Goku returning to Earth (base only, in fact) = about 20 million.

So, in 15 years, Goku got.... 1 million times stronger.

Yet, you people think 3 times is "too much"?!

It depends on how much you think the SSJ3 state increased Goku's power. I think it was rather more than 3x.

First off, all the Super Saiyajin transformations didn't increase the power fifty-fold.
At Babadi's space ship Goku was messured to 3,000 kiri as a Super Saiyajin. And was already smacking around Yakon, who had 800 kiri, in his base form.

If anything, the transformation power should lessen as the power increases. Or perhaps Kiri was just a different scale with a different base number.

In my personal oppinion Toriyama didn't give it much of a thought, he simply "made the story entertaining".

Now as for Goku's power, we have to understand that Goku, even in base form was very powerful in Dragonball GT.
In Dragonball Z, Goku specificly stated that he would make Oob retain his old powers, the level of Chibi Boo. And in Dragonball GT he confirmed that Oob had done better than expected.
So we know that Oob in the begining of Dragonball GT was greater than Chibi Boo. And Goku fought him a standstill in his normal state.

As for feats, Goku as a child in his base form defeated the most powerful incarnations of Fruiza and Seru with ease.
And was able to destroy the wall of Serguro's dimension (this by far surpasses the Shin Boo's feat, creating a little hole between the Room of Time and Spirit and the physical plane)

So Goku's power here alone was far beyond that it was in the Dragonball Z series. Obviously his most powerful form would triumph any chracter from the previous saga or series.

The "kiri" aren't really a good interpretation, as we don't have a context for them. And I agree, Toriyama was mostly making a good story. But we try to take it to another level, simply for fun.

As for Goku in GT... it was the single worst godmod I've ever had the misfortune to see. I won't even try to apply logic to it. I have disowned GT as even being in the DB family.
