Well, I'm not one of the biggest Tien fans but I still liked him and I wouldn't mind him being in GT. Considering how lame GT was, they should have filled it more with other characters except Kid Goku, Stupid Pan and G.Trunks.

IIRC Tien only made an appearance towards Majin Buu arc. So not only for TOEI but also to Toriyama Tien wasn't important. The same can be said of Yamcha.

But yeah what the hell was with GT being Saiyan dominant, DBZ was bad enough but didn't go overboard.

Humans made DBZ important, Krillin's little remarks and cowardice was a huge support to DBZ... DBGT lacked it, maybe a reason why DBGT was poor?

Yamcha's little jokes and remarks too, DBZ = Good, DBZ had them, DBGT = Poor, DBGT didn't have them.

And Tien was one of the most useful characters in DBZ, definatly the most useful and most powerful human. He stalled Cell, and also saved Dende from being killed by Buu. Imagine if Tien did not appear and Dende died... although Tien is no match for Super Saiyan power, to this very day I hold alot of respect for the character.

He normally went off to train as a way to escape Launch I found, but Launch was long gone by DBGT, so Tien should have stayed.

The lack of Tien is also a reason I dislike the Buu Saga.

Even though I'm more of a Saiyan fan, Tien is byfar my favorite human character, and I agree. He was awesome and Toei wasted him.
