No, thats not true at all. He'd learn from his mistakes and wouldn't go near the Dead Zone again. Also even if Broly beat and beat him for lets say 100 years Broly would die of age.

Garlic jr. loses. Plus Broly can sense ki so he'l know Goku's not in the dead zone. After a few hours of giving Garlic Jr. the beating of his life, he'll get tired of it and blow up the makyo star. Jr. loses all of his power and gets sucked into his OWN dead zone for the THIRD time! Boring.
