i already read from a movie news site that they are planning two sequals, but if this film does horribly, then maybe they will think it twice.

I mean look at Epic Movie, Disaster Movie and all that. They get shit reviews but they keep making them.

It isn't even that it's going to be a disparaging film that nettles me most, but that it's being greenlit - it isn't Dragonball, it's a flaccid and perturbing attempt at pissing off fans to no end by taking characters and making them anything but characters (with no chemisty or relationships, let alone a relationship to the audience, so because of this, amongst many a flaw that needs not mentioning, this film definitively won't be "epic" in any facet but failure). Not to mention horrid dialogue, horrid CGI, and equally bad fan fiction. Then they're giving it the label of Dragonball with but one thought. Not even the action will be worth merit in a film of this sort.

No one here could "watch the movie" yet, apparently; not too be too chiding, but any Dragonball fan can tell that this will garner more perpetual negative reaction than it will positive.

Well that is a completely different thing than what you said before. Something is the movie be a disappoint for DragonBall fans, another completely different is be a bad movie.

It can be both actually though it can also be a good movie in manners of "just a movie" and not a DragonBall movie. And be realist none movie with over 100 dollars budget can have bad CGI.

But it's not just a movie, it is a DragonBall movie, period. Piccolo isn't green!?! How does that not warrant negative feedback? Let alone Goku being in school, no Krillin, Bulma having 2 blue strands in her hair instead of full out blue hair, and Roshi having a full head of hair and no mustache or beard. What aspect of this movie sounds or looks even remotely good? How does any of this warrant anything positive, aside from the name DragonBall itself? Please do tell.

You didn't get what I meant. Just because the movie couldn't be good for a DragonBall movie doesn't mean it can't be good as a movie. Just because it isn't true to its name doesn't mean the movie itself isn't good.

Do you really think most movie critics know who the hell is Piccolo or what color he is? Or who is Krillin?

And that's exactly my point. We all have opinions because we're DragonBall fans, not because we're film critics. This movie won't matter shit to anyone except DragonBall fans. There's no way this movie can be "good", and not be a good DragonBall movie, it's impossible. And yes, just because it's not true to it's name does mean the movie will suck balls. Just say you wanna see the movie and think it will be good. Don't try and justify this garbage with excuses.
