I was lucky enough to be in the movie so I can only pray they didn’t cut me out of anything, I’m a huge fan so I am very grateful I was able to be in the film but from a critical fan’s point of view I’m going to hate at LEAST the opening scenes dialog, because I, and others, were cringing on set….

Jesus... if even the extras are cringing... >_<

Look at all these kids that just got into super heroes like Iron Man. Well this movie might sustain a younger fan base.

From the looks of the pictures, what people say, and the way hollywood movies can be, they have turned this movie into a spiderman,smallville, dawson's creek, transformers, matrix feeling movie.

Boy main character hero doesn't know he is great or something special but then in high school he learns he does have potential, and that he is an alien.

There will be a bunch of high school people picking on him making him look geeky or week.

Aliens will come and threaten the earth

Boy finds out he is an alien

BOy must face his fear and train to be the new hope

Boy trains and becomes amazing and goes to test his powers

Villain that was under used finally comes out of darkness destroys a few things, tempts the hero, kills some people, then fights the hero.

Hero may loose and try again or barerly when in a weakend state.

All I know is no matter how this movie is, Yamcha having bleached blonde hair ends, master roshi with short hair, no sunglasses and no facial hair, bulma with brown hair and one purple streak in it would bother me a lot most likely. ALso goku is not going tobe the uneducated forest moneky boy that can take bullets and kill dinosaurs, he is going to be the educated weak geek that lives in west city and gets bullied by assholes.

The figting in this movie will probably be alot like the matrix and that one movie where the teenage boys are all warlocks... The kamehameha should be cool though...If he even learns that this movie

At the end of the movie, after he's beaten Piccolo, he'll go back to the high school and gives the jocks wedgies.

why couldnt they just put goku in the mountains and have it play out like it should. But having a high school goku is like saying "we dont care what happens in the anime and we don't care about the fans who love the show."

I guess it will... but it's had a younger fan base in Australia, espeically when the Anime first aired on television in the mornings.
I remember back when I was in primary school (about 7ish/8ish) me and my brother would be late for school 'cos we wait for DBZ and Sailer Moon to finish on TV!

I think now kids are into different kinds of cartoons...
So I guess you're right in a way!!

From interviews and stuff, it seams as though there is going to a fair bit... especially in the fighting scenes and such.

I wonder if Goku turns Super Saiyan in this movie??

I think that's exactlly what the production people are thinking! Especially about making a profit.

Well heres the thing you would think it's the dragonball/Dragonballz following in the world that has made it possible for the franchise to keep running over the years.

Its not like the DB movie is going to automatically fail. I mean... people thought movie makers were going to ruin Superman and Batman when they made them and look their good films. Anime live action movies may be a different thing but it will probably be watchable.
