Thats also incorrect.

Reason:
Phase 1 -Gero creates Android 20 and 19 to kill Goku.
Phase 2 -The great Dr Gero create another set of androids, Android 17 and 18 to kill Goku.
Phase 3 -Gero creates a proto-type to annihilate Son Goku, in everyone possible.
Phase 4 -Now Dr Gero creates his final masterpiece: Cell another Android to kill Goku, absorb Androids 17 and 18, and destroy the Earth.

If Phase 1 had occurred and killed Goku what would be have been the point of phase 2 and 3 especially. So I don't see how Cell was programmed to destroy Goku. It seems Dr Gero went a little to keen.

17 and 18 were created before 19 and 20. That's why they're numbered.

Ye and werent all 4 of them Cyborgs not Androids, because thats why Bulma rememberd Dr. Gero he made Cybernetic modifications on his body, and 17 & 18 were humans before...But whats 19's story? Then of course #16 we all know he was just an Android and nothing more.

"Cyborgs", "Androids"....splitting hairs. Doesn't matter what they're called. We all know what we mean when someone says "The Androids".

And 19 was entirely mechanical.

Android #19 & Android #16 were created from nothing, while #17 & !8 were created from a human base.

There's a big difference between Androids and Cyborgs. An Android is all robotic with fake skin surrounding the skeleton. A Cyborg is a human with cybernetic implant and modifications. Thats why Cell could absoarb them, and why he couldn't absorab #16.

Yes my first guess about #19 was that he's an Android, but I always try to make sure.

Yea Cyborgs or Artificial Humans work well.

But go look at the series Star Trek Next Generation and up, the Borg a.k.a. Cyborgs, humans with Cybernetic implants/modifications, it's the samething.
