I'm of the belief that Broly could be around SSj2 power...and there are good points to suggest that. Some just need to accept that most people won't change their most biased beliefs. And that's a fact. But giving your opinion on things never hurts. Now, some people can be convinced, but hard [and I mean hard as sh*t] evidence needs to be given. And this is why Broly's power will never be truly decided: because there is no HARD evidence to convincingly convey that Broly is either one of the two, stronger or weaker than an SSj2.

I listen to your opinions and respect what you have to say, even if I think it's the stupidest thing and I absolutely don't agree with it. Could I actually prove wrong what some say? No. Because it's all about personal speculation. One person feels one thing, while another, another. It's an endless cycle of 'Broly pish-posh'-these threads...

Broly is an overrated, over-hyped character.
He's an ogre than can't seem to just sit down and give up.
He was defeated by characters who's total power is less than that of SSj2 Kid Gohan, on more than one occasion, might I add. So to say he could overpower SSj2 Goku, SSj3 Goku, or even SSj4 Gogeta; no, that's just, no.

The idea that Gohan broke through the original Super Saiyan 1 grades into a new line of grades, Super Saiyan 2, after Broly's Lssj was displayed is there for a reason.

At the time, Ssj2 was the greatest thing ever seen, even more than Movie 8 Broly.


Now Movie 10 Broly is debatable because you're trying to compare a God to a psycho that picked on two little kids.

It's pretty much the same as getting a human bodybuilder, get him to beat up 2 four year olds, and saying he is the bodybuilding champion.

Anyway be it Mssj or Ssj2 Gohan, Broly was beaten.
If Gohan was Mssj, Lssj is weaker than Mssj (shown in Movie 8)
If Gohan was Ssj2, Lssj is still weaker than a Ssj2 (shown in Movie 10)

Agreed.

Theres no doubt about it. Broly is constantly underrated on every single DBZ forum I go to. Mostly because people don't realize what hes truely capable of. They don't read deeper into the story and base his overall strength off the stupid endings to both of his movies. Thats like the only ammo anyone has to prove how "weak" he is.

Some people just seem biased against him and don't give him the respect or time of day he deserves. Either that or they pull out any lame excuse to make him look like a joke. As a diehard Broly fan, I gotta tell ya how frustrating that gets but I'm cool with being honest ;)

No offence but that is one of the most silly things i've heard.
Loads of people think Broly is an all powerful god, this is mostly because people take non-manga information to heart.

Like the games, Budokai 3 for example promotes Broly so much.

• The intro itself shows him fighting Ssj Gogeta evenly,
• Broly's Dragon Universe shows everyone in the Majin Buu saga claiming they've never experienced that kind of power,
• Supreme Kai telling Goku and Vegeta in their Dragon Universe that after their Super Buu fight, there is a deadler more evil disturvbing force out there (Broly).
• You get the Ssj4 capsule before you fight Broly, which dilluded people take for granted.

The reason that realistic fans don't appreciate Broly is that he is a TOEI movie character, and works the same way as other TOEI movie characters.

I'm pretty sure he meant Fat Buu at the time. Either way, the Kai may have also sensed his exponential power. Kind of like the stronger versions of Buu that would come along.

Movie 10 Broly would own him after his zenkai which is estimated to have made him 5x stronger than before.

Who ever said that I've got news for you, it’s a game. Rofl games do not I repeat do not have any relevance to DBZ, weather it’s the manga, anime, or movie. Enough said on that...

Estimated that’s not a cast iron defence for the simple reason its a dodgy estimate, an opinion in truth if its not stated its a lie. Once again you proved Broly's power cannot be over the level of Super Saiyan 2, as theres no evidence for it.
