I didn't have much problem with the way Gohan was presented. He was pretty much exactly the same as he was in the end of DBZ. He was a non-combatant, who didn't even enter the last World Tournament, even though everyone else did. Slacker.

Only difference was the "transformations". I don't really care about that.

I don't mind that he "retired" since the end of Z, just that he wasn't all he could have been.
I was disappointed with his overall performance in GT.

Who wasn't disappointed with GT's overall preformance. I mean yea, alot of the aimation was good, and at times the SS4 form looked good with the animation..

Great villians, ideas, but when it came to the show it was like a play that had tons of hype going into it but it failed w/ actors forgetting there lines and stage crew constantly messing up.

Seeing as how they pretty much forget the majority of logic from DBZ.

Because it defies the Dragonball Z Manga logic. The anime is full of plotholes and can't be used for infomation, and GT is based on the anime...Plotholes also come from failure to do proper research, TOEI did a half ass job at using any kind of logic, and when they did they did a half ass job at putting that logic in the story line...

Now this isn't counting, changing the characters to make the kakarrot the hero...again. Also TOEI made GT too much like DB and DBZ, they should have changed it all around keeping the true manga logic...Not only that, but TOEI just sucks big time.

We owe a big thinks to the DB/Z series, I believe anime wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for those shows, and what TOEI did was nothing but disrespect to AT.

Personally I think DBGT is underrated what with people bitching about it constantly, a part of me thinks that fans are so wound up with the negative aspects of the DBGT Anime that psychologically they choose to not accept any appreciation to anything positive about DBGT.

Ok, it messed things up alot but seriously, it was not that bad.

Yea it was, I mean hell it took everything that should had been left alone and changed it around, got rid of it, or messed it up so bad that it didn't make any sense.

The first 15 episodes of GT were abysmal. No need to talk about them. If you really, REALLY liked the first 15 episodes, then I'm pretty sure your taste in anime is very bad.
Then it started getting better with Baby. Yeah, I liked the Baby saga a bit but it still wasn't done well. The SS4 was just dumb. He didn't even look like the Z Super Saiyans and therefore, he SHOULDN'T EVEN BE CALLED A SUPER SAIYAN. But a mastered Golden Great Ape form. Gohan wasn't Ultimate but he was a stupid nerd. period. Goten was weak. Vegeta had a different personality from Z. In Z he would NEVER allow Bulma, his wife to help him achieve SS4. I repeat, NEVER EVER. His pride wouldn't let him. Not to mention Goku went back to a kid and his brain got several times more smaller. Pan was the most irritating character in the history of Dragonball.
Super 17 saga- actually he is one of my favorite villains from GT. But still, I mean: Imagine two seventeens fused into one. Big deal! BUT NO! He was several billion times stronger than the Z fighters.
Uub- One of the most underrated characters that in GT was ABUSED. Not mis-used but ABUSED. He should have been the hero and not Goku.
The shadow dragons was lame. Since when the dragonballs form negative energy?! Heck, since when there are OTHER dragonballs? The other dragons were lame,lame and LAME except Nova. Now Omega Shenron was also dumb. He was more like Mr.Big Muscle. SS4 Goku and Vegeta couldn't beat him and then they fused into Gogeta who wasted time. After that Goku went back to kid and AMAZINGLY formed a spirit bomb (the most overused attack in DBZ history) and beat Omega in a lame way. After that, the dragon kidnapped goku and NO ONE know where did he go.
Then we see two little kids who could go SS! No, even SS2. They were like 1/16th saiyans for God's sake!
End of GT.

Did I like it? No.
My rating? 3/10.

Good one, yes Omega was lame but Nova was awsome, and I somewhat agree with you about SS4, yes it wasn't a true super saiyan, but a few changes here and there and not only could it look like a real super saiyan, but it would look good too.

Yes I thought Nova was one of the best characters from GT, not only that he was just like Piccolo which is why I liked him, but more like the piccolo that "Goku" faught with at the Budokai with at the end of DB...Yes I said his earth name, but thats only b/c I talked about DB.

Grand Tour Saga
I guess it was quite bad, I never really liked the 'search for the Dragon Ball' journeys that took way too long, it was also an aspect of the original Dragonball I didn't like. But that didn't mean I disliked the whole of Dragonball, the Tenkaichi Budokais for me were fun watching and reading.

Super Saiyan Four
About the Super Saiyan 4 transformation. I understand why many fans are reluctant to like it, and I agree it shold have been called Controlled Great Ape or even Super Oozaru 2 or whatever. But to dislike a form entirely on it's name is quite petty. If you dislike it on the look then that's fair enough I suppose, I personally liked the awesome look of Ssj4 but I guess the Golden Haired Ssj look was what made DBZ so special so I can accept that.

Gohan
Guess i'm the minority here but I was never a fan of Gohan's Mystic Power up in the first place. Although I agree he should have fought more and not been a nerd.

Goten
Goten was weak in DBZ aswell compared to the other fighters, and Goten served the purpose I believe he was supposed to serve... comic relief. Goten was just adopting the nature that Gohan had when he was in High School, slacking off fighting and training because High School related things take up too much time. I didn't see a problem with that, even if Goten became strong and it was 'Dragonball: Goten Time' then people would still bitch that Gohan didn't get the fame.

Vegeta
Vegeta still had the same personality, it's just he had become more human after settling down long term with Earthlings. The way he insisted Trunks and Goten went with Goku to recover the Black Star Dragonballs showed that GT Vegeta, like Z Vegeta, expected more pride from anyone with Saiyan blood... seemed like the same Vegeta to me. About Bulma helping him reach Ssj4, Vegeta had probably realised that the threat of Syn Shenron was too much for Ssj4 Goku and Planet Earth. Vegeta had to swallow up his pride and finally (right at the end of the series) accept help at last to fight for the greater good (Only Planet Earth) rather than his friendly rivalry with Kakarot (which he still had in the Kid Buu Saga). Vegeta had to swallow up his pride as part of the deep story plot, am I the only one who saw that? Anyway, I will accept that because it was like a re-run of the Kid Buu saga that fans disliked it.

Pan
Pan should die, enough said, 17 should have killed her and not Krillin and they shouldn't have wished her back.

Goku
I'm not sure what they intended to achieve by making Goku a kid again, I guess to achieve the original 'Dragonball' effect for the Grand Tour saga... fair enough, but they should have made him into an adult again afterwards. What was the reason Goku wanted to remain a kid, was it so he could live longer? Shenron gave him eternal life at the end anyway. Or was it because Goku liked being a kid more than an adult? For me that captured Goku's Z personality just fine, selfish. (What about Chi Chi, Gohan and Goten? I swear Goku only thinks about himself.) That's my problem with Goku overall, not just GT Goku.

Super 17 Saga
So what if he was extremely strong? That's what fusion does, increases your PL several times higher so you are practically unbeatable, it did it for Saiyans, it can do it for Androids too. You might as well complain about Vegeto and Gotenks as well.
