I think Toei really just didn't do enough research. And since they got such a big thing as Gohan's power and state wrong, I'd almost say they didn't do any research at all. :/

Yea, I like Goku too, but the fact that they made the show ALL about Goku pissed me off. And what the hell was up with that random selection of the main trio? Goku, Pan and Trunks? Why didn't they have Vegeta in there instead of Trunks or Pan?

A better trio would've been Goku (Adult), Vegeta and Uub. Atleast if the story was boring, it would've made the show worth watching, considering that at the end of Dragon Ball Z, those three characters were pretty much the spotlight of the show.

I agree, but remember GT vegeta wasn't the same as ending Z vegeta. He had the desire to be better than kakarrot again, and he used a machene to achieve SS4 WFT!? Z vegeta would had never done that...The Z vegeta would had found another way.

^Yep, that's right. GT Vegeta was way more soft. His pride would never, EVER allow him to use a machine to increase in strength (reach SS4).

You see this is where fanfic's become very tricky, you have to remember Z and GT but also avoid the plot-holes which isn't easy. Thought I'd throw that out there referring to my fanfic.

I mean SS4 vegeta was awsome, but if the Z vegeta had went ss4 he would had been more fierce and would have been a more serious Gogeta. I do not believe gogeta would had been as silly if it was the Z vegeta instead.

Judging by the numerous plotholes and improbability of most of the things I'ves seen, they haven't.

This is where my fanfic comes in, too bad I don't own the rites to the complete series...My fanfic remembers Z and GT, but goes by the rules of DB and Z.

But I also agree, TOEI based the entire series of GT on the Anime of DB and Z, b/c we all know they did both...I think, thats right right?

If you want to get technical even though it wasn't explained about Saikyo no Gohan, he slacked off even more training like between Cell Arc and the Buu Arc in Dragonball Z, it almost suppressed his Super Saiyan 2 transformation. The same could of happened inside Dragonball GT he didn't train for ages so he lost the power up from Rou Dai Kaioshin. Simple theory, simple explanation.
